With these cheats you can buy any house for free, increase your household funds and be rich forever.
How to Use Money Cheats
The first thing you need to do for cheats is open the cheat box and enable cheat codes. This is easy to do and you can open the box with the following buttons:
- PC: Ctrl + Shift + C
- Mac: Command + Shift + C
- Console: All Four Triggers
When the box opens you can type in testingcheats true and hit enter to enable cheats. You’ll be able to type these sims 4 money cheats into that same box.
There are two types of money cheats that you can use and the first type give your household a specific amount of money. There are three of these cheats either giving your household 1,000 or 50,000 simoleons.

Pro Tip: After hitter enter with these cheats you can use the up arrow on your keyboard to reload the cheat you just used and use it again!
The second type of money cheats is a household funds money cheat. This one is easy to use too but just works differently. For this cheat code you’ll type the word money and then an amount of money you’d like your sims to have.
This will add or delete funds to your household because it just changes the amount of money your sims have in their household funds! So, if you currently have 5,000 simoleons but want 100K you can use money 100000 and it will change your sim’s household funds to 100,000.
Free Real Estate Cheat
When you are moving a sim into a house (either a new family or moving an existing family) and you’re in the world menu you can open the cheat box and type in FreeRealEstate On and hit enter.
Doing this will make all homes in the world free letting you buy any house without spending any of the money your sim has!
Trait Cheats to Get Free Money
In the base game there are two aspirations that have reward traits that can give your sims money, which is awesome! The first one is the thrifty trait that comes with the Mansion Baron Aspiration. This trait will give your household a 10% rebate each week on anything they purchase from build mode which means any furniture and decor that you buy, you’ll get some money back which can add up!
The second one is the shrewd trait that comes with the Fabulously Wealthy Aspiration that essentially makes it so your sim’s household funds are “invested” so your sims will get a little bit of money each week based on how much money the sim has in their household funds.
Below you’ll see two trait cheats you can use to add these traits to your sim so you can have these benefits without needing to finish the aspiration.

Save Money on Bills
If you have The Sims 4: Eco Lifestyle you can shift click on your sim’s mailbox and under the utilities menu you’ll find options where you can change the production or consumption from a sim with water and power so you can save some money on bills.
How to Cheat Money with Mods
The best way to cheat your money is to use the UI Cheats Extension mod because it makes everything easy. For this you just need to right click on your sim’s household funds and a menu pops open where you can type in any amount of money that you want your sims to have!
UI Cheats is the most user-friendly cheat mod, so using it makes the process of cheating so much easier. If you have Journey to Batuu you can also cheat galactic credits in this menu and you can cheat bits and pieces from Eco Lifestyle too!
