Stages of The Aspiration
There are four stages to the sims 4 fabulously wealthy aspiration and each of them are the same. All of them have a number of simoleons your sim needs to have earned, and a number that they need to have in their household funds or “reserve”.
As your sim finishes these tasks they’ll get some satisfaction points they can spend in the reward store!
Stage One: Going for Note Broke

- Have Earned §5,000
The first part of this aspiration has your sims needing to earn 5,000 simoleons. This is easy! You can earn money in so many ways from getting a regular job to having a money making hobby.
One great way to make lots of money in the game is to paint masterpieces and sell them to collectors or art galleries!
- Have §10,000 in Reserve
To finish this part of the aspiration your sim needs to have 10,000 simoleons in reserve. All this means is that they need to have this money in their household funds.
The best part is that any sim can help earn this money. So, if you have multiple sims in the household any money earned can go into reserve and count toward this. However, other sim’s money doesn’t count toward the money earned part of the aspiration.
Stage Two: Learning Earning

- Have Earned §25,000
For the second stage of this aspiration your sim needs to have earned 25,000 simoleons. This includes any money earned from careers as well as hobbies and royalties.
You can earn daily royalties which are great for earning money by writing bestsellers with the writing skill on a computer. You’ll get royalties each day when you license books and that can add up quick!
- Have §20,000 in Reserve
To finish this part of the aspiration you’ll need to have 20,000 simoleons in reserve. Get everyone in your sim’s household to participate in money making actions like jobs and hobbies.

You can even get teens to join a part-time job, every dollar counts!
Stage Three: Well-Off

- Have Earned §75,000
For the third stage you’ll need to get your sim to earn 75,000 total. Thankfully this includes any money you’ve earned previously so the previous 25,000 counts too.
Another great way to make money is to start a gardening. When you have a high level of the gardening skill you can have a huge garden and sell all the output for money each morning.
You can even automate parts of your farm if you have a gardener come to do the work or if you have The Sims 4: Seasons you can add Patchy The Scarecrow to your lot to do some work. Or just get sprinklers to water!
- Have §35,000 in Reserve
To finish this part of the aspiration you’ll need 35,000 simoleons in your household funds. Just get all sims in the household to keep working and doing money making hobbies like woodworking or nectar making!

Stage Four: Fabulously Wealthy

- Have Earned §200,000
To finish this aspiration your sim will need to have earned 200,000 simoleons over the course of their life. That’s quite a bit of money, which is why things like royalties from books or gardening are great because you can earn lots of money without a ton of effort each day.
Another great way you can earn money in the game is by creating high quality crafts and selling them at a yard sale with a huge mark up with any of the market tables you can get in some DLC. You’ll find these tables in packs like city living, eco lifestyle and more.
- Have §50,000 in Reserve
After earning 200,000 simoleons you’ve probably kept 50,000 in your sim’s household funds, so you’ll be finishing this part pretty easy!

Shrewd Reward Trait
When your sim is able to finish off the sims 4 fabulously wealthy aspiration they’ll get the shrewd reward trait. This trait’s description says “Shrewd sims receive a direct deposit each week based on their household funds.”

This trait makes me giggle because it literally works like life, the rich get richer! Your sims will earn interest on any money they have in their household funds so they can get richer.
