Where to Find Each Tarot Card in The Sims 4

There are 26 total cards to be found and each tarot card in The Sims 4: Life and Death has a different way to find it.

There are riddles attached that help you get there, but sometimes if you get stumped you may need some help!

You’ll need to find The High Spellcaster card first!

Common Tarot Cards

The High Spellcaster

“To commence the collection of Order of Lenore, seek the ancient Tarot Tome Shrine. Therein lies the book of tarot, a tome of secrets and lore.”

To find this card you’ll go to the Mourningvale neighbourhood of Ravenwood. In the town square you’ll find the tarot tome shrine and if you click on it you can choose What’s This? When you do, you’ll learn about The Order of Lenore and be given The High Spellcaster card.

Coins

“Where golden dreams turn to dust and decay, in the crypts where the lifeless lay, a coin’s visage in card form holds sway. Venture forth, and let the shadows guide your way.”

The coins card is found when a sim is exploring the crypts. This one didn’t seem to have a specific action card tied to it, I just explored until my sim randomly found it.

You can purchase a crypt for your own lot or you can find them around the world. There is one at the Cemetery in Ravenwood for sure!

Cups

“In the depths where the living dare not tread, among the silent watchers of the dead, a chalice card rests with secrets to be read. In these hallowed crypts, let your steps be led.”

To find the cups card you’ll need to explore the crypts. For this one my sim got an action card called Mystery Boxes and we got it by choosing The Box of Ethereal. There is a chance it’s random as well, but this is what my sim answered to get it!

Judgement

“Within the shadows where Lenore’s Order lies, Find the members, heed their cries. Complete their quests, though paths are hard, and win yourself a sacred card. The Ghost Host member is the one to seek.”

For this one you need to find The Ghost Host sim and you can find them at Afterlife Anonymous. This is an event that happens every weekday in Mourningvale. You’ll find it MWF from 6-11PM and TT from 10AM-4PM in the Mourningvale neighbourhood.

You’ll click on the ghost host and offer to do favor and choose the Cake Baked Lies Favor. This favor will have your sim needing to:

• Meet Percival the Patient
• Bake a Cake
• Deliver a Slice to the Ghost Host

When you finish this favor your sim will be rewarded with a cowplant berry as well as the Judgement card.

Swords

“Beneath the cold stone of forgotten souls, where shadows whisper secrets untold, lies the card of swords, amidst the crypts of old. Seek where the dead repose, and the truth shall unfold.”

To find the swords tarot card your sim will need to explore a crypt. If you get an action card asking if you want to rummage sarcophagus, choose that option and you’ll find this card.

Temperance

“In the heart of Crow’s Crossing, where specters roam and memories intertwine, converse with the restless souls for a glimpse divine. Through their tales of catharsis, the hidden card you shall find.”

In the town square in the Crow’s Crossing neighbourhood you’ll see Specter’s flying around.

Get your sim into a bad mood (i.e., uncomfortable or sad) and click on one of these and choose to seek catharsis.

The Chariot

“To uncover a card of arcane might, seek the spectral merchant Waylon, cloaked in night. His dealings are secret, his presence a blight, but treasures await those with courage to sight.”

For the chariot & the hermit cards you’ll need to find Waylon Warez the Mysterious Merchant. This sim has a shop you can access by clicking on purchase Warez.

This will open a menu for the Waylon’s Warez where you can purchase each of them for 200 simoleons each.

The Hermit

“To uncover a card of arcane might, seek the spectral merchant Waylon, cloaked in night. His dealings are secret, his presence a blight, but treasures await those with courage to sight.”

The Hermit card is also found by shopping with Waylon, so follow the steps in the last section and purchase it!

Wands

“Amidst the tombs where silence binds, a wand’s card in the crypts one finds. Yet, should darkness deter your quest, the wand shop offers a safer rest.”

To find this tarot card your sim will need to go into a crypt to explore. you can purchase one of these for your lot or go to the Ravenwood Cemetery.

If you get an action card inside of the crypts talking about Waylon’s Wand Shop, you’ll have a chance of getting this card depending on your response. You’ll want to choose rummage blindly to get this one.

Uncommon Tarot Cards

Justice

“With the hollow of an ancient tree, two cards lie hidden for those who see. But take heed of Alice, the sorrowful ghost, who mourns her lost child, her vigil unending at this haunted post.”

For this card you’ll want to travel to the Club Eternity lot in Mourningvale and then go toward the right to find a large tree with blue things hanging off it.

You’ll click on this and choose use intuition and your sim will get one of two cards, either justice or the star. Do this multiple times until you get them both.

Strength

“Within the shadows where Lenore’s Order lies. Find the members, heed their cries. Complete their quests, though paths are hard, and win yourself a sacred card. The Ghost Host Member is the one to seek.”

For this you’ll need to find The Ghost host who appears at the Afterlife Anonymous event each weekday in Mourningvale.

You’ll need to click on this sim and offer to do them a favor and choose the essence-tials favor. In this favour you’ll need to :

• Become a Temporary Ghost
• Acquire Ghost Essence
• Deliver Essence to the Ghost Host Order Member

When you finish this your sim will get both the strength tarot card as well as a soul.

Suspension

“To find the card of Suspension’s plight, search through Crow’s Crossing graves with careful sight. Or, with ghostly powers levitate a victim slight, and the hidden card shall come to light.”

There are two ways you can get this card! The first way is by going to the gravestones outside of the Specter lot and click on them and choose use intuition. When you do this you can either get this card or the wheel of fortune card.

You can also get this card if you are a ghost (or become on temporarily) and use a levitate ghost mastery perk on someone.

The Advocate

“Within the shadows where Lenore’s Order lies, Find the members, heed their cries. Complete their quests, though paths are hard, and win yourself a sacred card. The Grim Enthusiast Member is the one to seek.”

For this your sim needs to find The Grim Enthusiast who is located around random events in Ravenwood.

You’ll click on this sim and offer to do favor and choose to do the macabre mysteries favor. You’ll need to do the following tasks:

• Visit the Specter Graves
• Purchase Four Souls from Waylon
• Report Findings to the Grim Enthusiast Order Member

When your sim finishes this they’ll be given The Advocate card!

The Emperor

“Within the shadows where Lenore’s Order lies, find the members, heed their cries. Complete their quests, though paths are hard, and win yourself a sacred card. The Widowed Father Member is the one to seek.”

To get the emperor card you’ll need to find The Widowed Father. This sim is at the Moon Revelry every single night in the Whispering Glen neighbourhood.

Once you find him you’ll click on him and offer to do a favor. You’ll choose the small things favor and you’ll need to do the following tasks:

• Search for Frogs at Family Day
• Purchase Toy
• Deliver Toy to the Widowed Father Order Member

When you finish this you’ll get rewarded with the emperor card.

The Empress

“By the eerie waters of Baleful Bog, where mists arise and shadows clog, use intuition, let sense guide, The Empress within shall hide.”

Baleful Bog is a body of water in the Mourningvale neighbourhood of Ravenwood. The water here is more purple than blue!

When you click on it you’ll see the option to use intuition and from this you can get the empress card.

The Fool

“Within the shadows where Lenore’s Order lies, Find the members, heed their cries. Complete their quests, though paths are hard, and win yourself a sacred card. The Grim Enthusiast Member is the one to seek.”

To get The Fool you’ll need to locate the Grim Enthusiast who will be at all sorts of events in Ravenwood.

Once you find this sim you’ll click on them and choose offer to do favor. You’ll want to choose the grim beginnings favor and you’ll need to do these tasks:

• Meet Grim
• Deliver Gnome to Grim
• Deliver Message to the Grim Enthusiast Order Member

The Lovers

“Within the shadows where Lenore’s Order lies, Find the members, heed their cries. Complete their quests, though paths are hard, and win yourself a sacred card. The Widowed Father Member is the one to seek.”

To get your sim The Lovers card you’ll need to find The Widowed Father. You’ll find them each night at the Moon Revelry festival in the Whispering Glen neighbourhood.

You’ll click on the Widowed Father and choose to offer to do a favor and a menu will open. You’ll choose the unfinished boo-siness favor where you’ll need to do the following tasks:

• Meet a Ghost
• Ask Ghosts about Unfinished Business at Afterlife Anonymous
• Report Back to the Widowed Father Order Member

When you report back after finishing the tasks you’ll be given the lovers card as a reward.

The Magician

“Within the shadows where Lenore’s Order lies, Find the members, heed their cries. Complete their quests, though paths are hard, and win yourself a sacred card. The Death Obsessed Member is the one to seek.”

For this card you’ll need to find the death obsessed member of The Order of Lenore. You’ll find this sim working the tarot card booth at the Thinned Festiveil.

When you find the sim you’ll click on them and choose to offer to do a favor. Then choose the petal for your thoughts favor. You’ll have to do the following tasks:

• Read a Thanatology Book
• Find a Death Flower
• Deliver Death Flower to the Death Obsessed Order Member

After delivering the death flower you’ll be given The Magician tarot card as a reward.

The Star

“Within the hollow of an ancient tree, two cards lie hidden for those who see. But take heed of Alice, the sorrowful ghost, who mourns her lost child, her vigil unending at this haunted post.”

In the mourningvale neighbourhood of Ravenwood there is a large tree way to the right from Club Eternity.

You’ll click on this tree and choose to use intuition and you will get either the star card or the justice card.

The Sun

“Within the shadows where Lenore’s Order lies, Find the members, heed their cries. Complete their quests, though paths are hard, and win yourself a sacred card. The Death Obsessed Member is the one to seek.”

To get The Sun you’ll need to find the death obsessed member. They’ll be working the tarot booth at the Thinned Festiveil each week!

When you find this sim at Thinned Festiveil you’ll click on them and offer to do a favor. A menu will open and you’ll choose the we all fall down favor and you’ll need to do the following tasks:

• Meet a Ghost
• Create a Memorial Display for a Ghost
• Take a Photo
• Deliver Photo to the Death Obsessed Order Member

The Wheel of Fortune

“Among the gravestones in Crow’s Crossing there, where the departed rest in silent despair, a hidden card awaits with intuition’s glare. Seek with care, for the past’s whispers linger there.”

There are a set of graves near a crypt in front of the Specter Family Manor lot. You’ll click on one of these and choose use intuition to find this card.

Rare Tarot Cards

Evil

“In the depths of the Well of Longing and Regret, where darkness consumes and chaos unfolds, what lies hidden, their secrets untold. Beware of Edith, avoid her mark, lest your fate be sealed in the eternal dark.”

Evil is the first of two cards you get from The Well of Longing and Regret. You’ll find this well to the right of the Old Ravenwood Estate lot. When you click on it you’ll choose use intuition and you’ll get either the evil card or the tower card.

The Moon

“When the moon is full and night sky is bright, and the Moon Revelry festival is alight, seek the card of the moon while digging in this mystic rite. Only under Luna’s gaze, will its secrets ignite.”

Each night in the Whispering Glen neighbourhood of Ravenwood there is a Moon Revelry festival.

However, your sim needs to attend this festival on a full moon when the festival changes and everyone is nude. You’ll find a bunch of lights and a fire burning near water in the neighbourhood.

At this festival there will be random dirt piles and when you click on them you can choose to rummage and this is how you’ll find The Moon Card.

Beware though, on full moons the festival changes slightly and each sim comes to the event nude!

The Tower

“In the depths of the Well of Longing and Regret, where darkness consumes and chaos unfolds, what lies hidden, their secrets untold. Beware of Edith, avoid her mark, lest your fate be sealed in the eternal dark.”

The tower is the second card you can get from the Well of Longing and Regret. This is located to the right of the Old Ravenwood Estate lot in Crow’s Crossing.

You’ll find the well and click on it and choose use intuition.

The World

“Befriend a crow, black as the night, and earn its trust with gentle might. In return, a card of the World’s insight shall be bestowed, a gift from flight.”

This card is found by becoming friends with a crow. You can purchase one for your own lot or you can find one in the Mourningvale neighbourhood near the undead cowplant.

You’ll click on this crow and use some of the positive socialize options until you get the card. It didn’t take long at all!

Death

“When twenty-five cards you have amassed, Death himself shall appear at last. With a solemn gaze and eternal breath, he shall bestow the final card: Death.”

This will be the very last card you get because it requires you to find the other 26 first. Once you have all 25 cards in your sim’s inventory you’ll click on them and choose summon the Grim reaper.

When you do this Grim will appear on your lot and will come up to your sim and give you a gift. The gift will be the 26th card, Death.

Creating a Tarot Card Deck

Once you get all 26 tarot cards you’ll be able to click on the collection of cards in your sim’s inventory and choose to create deck.

This will create the Lady Ravendancer Goth’s Tarot Deck!

This deck is more special than the one that you get with Life & Death because it has more options in the meditative deviation section.
