Having a horse is fun and if you do the Sims 4 be a horse kid formative moment your kid will focus on growing their relationship with their horse.
You’ll need to have The Sims 4: Horse Ranch installed in your sim’s game to play through this formative moment.
The Sims 4 Be a Horse Kid Formative Moment
- “It would be so amazing if I could train a horse all by myself!”
To train your horse your sim will need to travel with the horse to the world of Chestnut ridge into the New Appaloosa neighbourhood. You can travel to any of the lots because the place you need to go to isn’t a regular lot.
You’ll need to click on the Equestrian Center in the middle of the world between 7AM and 7PM and click horse training. A menu will appear where you’ll choose your hose and then choose which skill to train.
Your sim will ride the horse into the building as a rabbit hole and when they come out they’ll have done one of the two requirements for this. You’ll just need to do training twice.
- “I’m going to get to know and spend time with a bunch of different horses!”
The best way to get through this part is to get your sim to hangout in Chestnut Ridge. You’ll find random sims walking around and people riding horses. You can click on any of the horses an do a friendly interaction with the horse and chat with them to satisfy this requirement.
- “If I really like horses, I have to befriend at least one of them.”
For this, you’ll want to have your child become friends with their horse. This is easy, you’ll just do some of the friendly introductions until you and your horse are at 35% friendship together.
Horse Kid Reward Trait
When you finish this formative moment your kid will get the horse kid trait. This trait’s description reads “As a Child, this Sim really loved horses. They even won a horse competition! A total horse kid. As an adult, they’ll build relationships with horses more easily and their horses will also advance in their horse skills more quickly.”
This will be so helpful if you want to breed horses to sell them because you can get them skills faster so they’re worth more money!
