How to Craft a Ring
The first step is to actually craft the ring. For this you’ll need to get a gemology table that comes with The Sims 4: Crystal Creations. You’ll be looking for The All-In-One Gemology Table by Humphrey Inc.
Your sim will need to get to at least level two of the gemology skill to be able to craft a ring. To gain the skill you can have your sim craft anything on the table or read gemology skill books.
When you hit level two you’ll click on the table and click design jewelry and a menu will open. You can toggle the menu at the top under choose design to just see rings that your sim can make.
Choose any of these rings and your sim will start crafting it. When it’s done it’ll be sitting on the table and you’ll want to drag it or click on it to put it in your sim’s inventory.
How to Successfully Propose With Crafted Ring in The Sims 4
Now that your sim has the ring in their inventory they’re ready to propose to their romantic partner. You’ll want to have a sim who you are in a relationship with and have a decent friendship and romantic relationship with that sim.
The key to this is to have a successful proposal so you can’t get denied!
There are a few factors to your sim getting denied including their relationship with the target sim and how long they’ve known each other. Gone are the days of meeting and getting married on the same day!
You’ll want to click on the sim and choose propose with crafted ring. This can sometimes appear in the initial menu but you can also find it in the relationship panel as well, but you’ll need to grow the relationship enough to get it done!
With this knowledge your sim can easily go ahead and propose with a ring they created with their own two hands, and with that you can finish the crystal crafter aspiration which is awesome!
