How to Stop Being a Problem Fairy in The Sims 4

If you want to collect daily rations you’ll want to stop being a problem fairy in The Sims 4.

It’s a pain to get fairy dust, and having those daily rations are a consistent way to get it!

Being a problem fairy comes to your game with The Sims 4: Enchanted by Nature!

How to Stop Being a Problem Fairy in The Sims 4

When you become a problem fairy you’ll lose access to your daily fairy dust rations which can be such a pain, so knowing how you can stop being one is important. You actually have three options to remove the problem fairy trait.

Your first option is to go to the Mossveil Fairy Hub in the Everdew neighbourhood of Innisgreen. You’ll click on this building and find Appeal Problem Fairy Status at Fairy Court. Click on that and your sim will go into the building as a rabbit hole.

When this is successful you’ll get a notification saying that your sim is no longer a problem fairy but they had to pay a fine. The fine was 250 simoleons and after paying it the sim’s problem fairy trait was removed.

Your next options are with Care Ren, the Fairy Council Liaison who would’ve called you right after you became a problem fairy. There are two options with this sim, either to pay restitution or discuss fairy behavior.

If you choose to pay restitution your sim will need to pay a fine to the fairy council. The fine was 100 simoleons which is less than the fairy council!

When you do this your sim and the fairy council liaison will do a funny interaction where your sim hands them a wad of cash. You’ll then get a notification saying “The Council appreciates your payment and your status has been absolved. Stay out of trouble, would ya?”

Your sim will also get a moodlet from paying restitution! This is a +1 Tense moodlet called Feeling Fined that lasts four hours.

When you choose to discuss fairy behaviour you’ll get a notification that says “We may be on better terms now, but don’t think I won’t slap your other wrist for bother’ the Coast. Keep it mellow, alright?”

When you do this your problem fairy trait will be removed without a fine, which is nice!

Being a problem fairy is no fun because it makes it harder for you to get fairy dust, so go talk to Care Ren and be nice to people in the Coast of Adhmor!
