How to Spar with Werewolves in The Sims 4

If you want to be a lone wolf you’ll need to spar with werewolves in The Sims 4.

This ability comes with The Sims 4: Werewolves and is a friendly fight between two wolves!

How to Spar with Werewolves in The Sims 4

Before you are able to spar with other werewolves you first need to unlock the Transformation Mastery dormant ability.

Unlock Transformation Mastery

This ability’s description says “Staying contained and away from others while rampaging will grant your sim a brief moment of clarity. This insight will help them master the art of transformation, granting the ability to call upon the beast form at any time while still retaining a semblance of humanity. Be warned! Even with this newfound mastery, your sim will still be susceptible to the ever encroaching Fury boiling within.”

At the bottom is says “Unlocked by preventing your werewolf from scaring any sims during a fury-induced rampage.”

These rampages happen when you do too many werewolf things in a row and your sim’s fury fills completely. When it happens your werewolf will change into a werewolf from a sim and they’ll have a green glow and be scary. They’ll also get a +10 Angry moodlet.

To get through this without scaring other sims you have a few options, the first option is to just hide your sim away during this time. I took my sim and put them inside of their home and locked the doors and didn’t let them out until their fury rampage was over and unlocked the ability.

Your other option is to purchase The Will to Resist werewolf ability. When your sim enters the fury state you can click on them immediately and choose werewolf > try to regain control and hope your sim regains control before scaring anyone.

When your sim succeeds at this, you’ll get a notification that is called Transformation Mastery Unlocked and from now on you can change into a werewolf whenever as well as do werewolf spars.

Participating in Werewolf Spars

Now that your sim has transformation mastery you’ll see the option to werewolf spar in the werewolf menu when you click on other werewolf sims.

When you click this the two sims will find an open enough area to spar that’s around them and start to fight. Your sim may even get a +1 Happy moodlet called Super Sparring.

Sparring at the Sparring Grounds

If you click the werewolf spar option your sim and the other werewolf will find a spot near them with enough space and spar there which is convenient. If you choose the werewolf spar at sparring grounds option your sims will go to the sparring ground circle in Moonwood Mill.

This option only appears if you’re in Moonwood Mill and both sims can travel to the sparring grounds without the need for a loading screen!

Both sims will run over to the sparring grounds and start their spar, which is a fun fight with lots of dust.

Sparring is a huge part of the lone wolf aspiration so you’ll need to know how to do this, plus it’s just a fun werewolf ability!
