How to Get Trash Fruit in The Sims 4
Growing a plant from trash isn’t really something I want to do IRL but sims 4 trash fruit is a fun part of the game.
If your sim is gross enough to want to grow a plant from trash, this is for you!
How to Get Trash Fruit in The Sims 4
There are two ways to get trash fruit with one being intentional by purchasing seed packs and the other being unintentional by leaving trash outside!
Growing a Plant on Your Lot
Most players probably don’t make a trash plant on purpose, they probably have it happen accidentally. If you have your sim leave a pile of garbage on the ground for 24-48 hours it’ll actually turn into a trash plant.
You’ll need to have no sims touch this trash for the entire time, so ideally you won’t have an outdoor trash can available so no sims autonomously try and clean it up.
Caring for this plant is just like other plants, you’ll need to water it and once blossomed you can harvest sims 4 trash fruit from this plant. However, this one can be stinky so sims don’t love it.
Purchasing Uncommon Seed Packets
If your sim reaches level seven of the gardening skill you can purchase uncommon seed packets from a garden pot or planter, the computer or build mode. You can get all sorts of plants in these from bonsai buds to roses to cherries and trash fruit!
Once you purchase these you’ll click on them in your sim’s inventory and choose open seed pack and you’ll have the items appear in your sim’s inventory. You’ll need to purchase multiple as you only get a few items each time you open one.
