The Sims 4 Toddler Skills Guide
There is so much for toddlers to learn and with these sims 4 toddler skills they can be ready to become kids!
Toddlers are one of my favourite additions to the game.
They are so silly and so adorable and playing with them just adds so much to my experience.
The skills your toddlers can gain are great too and have such a wonderful impact on their behaviour.
All The Different Toddler Skills

Communication Skill
Learning how to communicate is so important to toddler growth and being able to ask for exactly what they need.

Imagination Skill
The imagination skill is about learning how to be creative and use their brain in big, imaginative ways.

Movement Skill
Your toddlers need to gain the movement skill and trust me, they will. Every time they move they’ll be gaining this great skill.

Potty Skill
Nobody wants to change diapers so gaining the potty skill is how you avoid bathing your toddlers as much!

Thinking Skill
The thinking skill has your toddlers using their brains so much. Gaining this skill makes them into easier to care for toddlers.
How to Cheat Toddler Skills
There are cheat codes for pretty much everything in The Sims, even toddler skills. The cheats in the chart below are going to max out the skill.
To get a different level you can change to any number from 1-3 for the potty skill, and from 1-5 for the other skills.
| Skill | Cheat Code |
|---|---|
| Imagination | stats.set_skill_level Skill_Toddler_Imagination 5 |
| Thinking | stats.set_skill_level skill_toddler_thinking 5 |

Sims 4 Toddler Skills Age Up Benefits
The biggest reason to gain skills for toddlers is to give your sims a leg up when they age up to a child. Each of the skills your toddlers can gain (except potty) is directly connected to a child skill.
- Communication > Social
- Movement > Motor
- Imagination > Creative
- Thinking > Mental
If your sims are able to get to level 3 of a toddler skill they are going to start with a level of the corresponding skill already full. If you can max out the toddler skill you’ll start your child skills with 2 levels and a 94% full bar, so practically three levels of the skill!
This is awesome because it gives your sims a leg up over other sims and makes it feel like your efforts have been worth it.
