How to Get Sugar Skulls in The Sims 4
You may not even know that the sims 4 sugar skulls collection exists if you never interact with tombstones.
It’s one of those sneaky collections that can add some fun decor and gameplay to your game that you never even knew you were missing.
How to Get Sugar Skulls in The Sims 4
The thing about sugar skull is that you’ll first need to have a sim pass away before you can get them. You’ll need to have a tombstone and you’ll click on it and choose leave sugar skull offering at night, ideally after midnight works best. If you do it during the day, nothing happens.

When you do this you’ll get a notification telling you that they’ve sent a Day of the Dead celebrator to roam around your neighbourhood. If you go find them you can get a sugar skull!

When you hover over the sim it’ll say Day of the Dead Celebrator and when you click on them there is an option to ask for sugar skull.

However, they won’t give them to just anyone! If you don’t have a relationship with the sim you’ll get a notification that says “Why would I celebrate the Day of the Dead with a stranger or enemy?”

I tried it again at various levels of friendship with the Celebrator, but I needed to be over 80% friendship where you’ve gotten the Good Friends notification between the two sims.

There is a cooldown on leaving a sugar skull offering, so you aren’t able to do this every single night. However, you can do it a bunch of times and get this collection finished with very little effort on your sim’s part.
Note: This is the best way to get them consistently. However, you can sometimes get sugar skulls when your sim is going fishing, opening capsules and digging on dirt spots!
Displaying Your Sugar Skulls
There is an entire sugar skull display case that you can purchase for 750 simoleons. This item has a spot for all ten sugar skulls with nine on the shelves and one on top.

This lets you do an honour the dead interaction and when the first 9 skulls are placed on the shelves and you honour the dead, the 10th skull with appear at the top!

Your sim will also get a +1 Happy Moodlet called Day of the Dead Celebrant that will last 16 hours!
