The Sims 4 Skill Cheats (Updated for Adventure Awaits)
There are dozens of skills to earn and it can be a lot so using sims 4 skill cheats is an easy way to make sims more interesting without effort.
These cheats let your sim become a better cook, an incredible painter and more!
How to Use These Skill Cheats
The first thing you need to know is how to enable cheats for the game to know you’re trying to use them! You’ll first need to open the cheat box:
- PC: Ctrl + Shift + C
- Command: Command + Shift + C
- Console: All Four Triggers
Then you’ll type in testingcheats true and hit enter and the dialogue box will tell you that cheats are enabled. This cheat box is where you’ll input all of these skill cheats too!
The skill cheats on this list are all going to max the skill with the cheat code listed. You are able to give your sim any level of the skill below the number in the cheat just by changing it to a different number.
You’ll see that some skills have five levels (minor skills) and others have ten levels (major skills) and for some reason the vampire lore skill has fifteen.
Every Sims 4 Skill Cheat You Need to Know
There are so many skills to cheat and below you’ll see them in five categories, base game skills, DLC skills for teens and older, child skills and toddler skills and finally skills for horses. If you’re looking for a specific skill you can use ctrl + f to search for that skill, but they are listed alphabetically for base game and in order of release for DLC.

Horse Skill Cheats
The horse skill cheats work a little different because you first need to find the horse’s SIM ID. This is a long number that the game will give you when you use the cheat that you’ll input at the end of the cheat code to make it work.
For this you’ll need to use the cheat code sims.get_sim_id_by_name *FirstName* *LastName* and hit enter. So, if your horse’s name is Ronald McDonald you’d use the cheat sims.give_sim_id_by_name Ronald Mcdonald and the game will give you a long number.
Unfortunately, this number isn’t copyable so you’ll need to type it into a browser or write it down to copy it into the cheats below.
