This base game aspiration focuses your sim on being with tons of sims and never sticking with one for long.
Alluring Bonus Trait
When you have a sim who starts their life with a romantic aspiration like this one they’ll be given the alluring trait. This trait makes your sim be more successful at romantic interactions than other sims!
This is awesome for this aspiration because this sim will want to find multiple partners and being alluring can help gain the romantic relationship faster.
Best Traits for The Sims 4 Serial Romantic Aspiration
If you want to have an easier time with aspirations you can add specific traits to your sims. Here are some good traits for being a serial romantic:
- Outgoing: Your sim will need to do tons of social interactions and outgoing sims will like that more!
- Romantic: Since you need to find all sorts of partners you’ll want to be flirty often and sims who are romantic get flirty more often.
- Beguiling: This is a reward trait your sim can purchase for 2,500 points. You can use the beguile interaction and make another sim feel flirty with one click.
- Shameless: This is another reward trait that costs 2,000 points. This will make your sim never be able to feel embarrassed again and when romance fails your sims can feel embarrassed and it will throw a wrench in your plans!
You can also add some great lot traits to make your sim have an easier time with this aspiration. Here’s some good options:
- Romantic Aura: This lot trait is from The Sims 4: City Living and it will give sims flirty moodlets and boosts romantic skill gains.
- Convivial: This lot trait will help your sim gain the charisma skill faster.
- Singles Hangout: This lot trait is from The Sims 4: Lovestruck and will make random single sims visit your lot often. They come to you, you won’t have to find them!
Stages of the Aspiration
There are four stages of this aspiration to play through that all involve love. You’ll need to get romantic partners, earn the charisma skill and kiss lots of sims!
Stage One: Amore Amateur
- Have a Romantic Partner
The first thing your sim needs to do is have a romantic partner. This option appears at around 50% romantic relationship with another sim.
You can sometimes find this in the initial menu but if you can’t you can go to relationships > ask to be romantic partner.
- Go on Two Dates
To finish this part of the aspiration you’ll need to take a sim on two dates. It doesn’t even need to be the same sim! To ask a sim on a date you can either ask them in person or ask them by phone.
In person you’ll click on them and head to the romance menu and choose ask on date and you’ll be able to pick a location and the date will start.
Your other option is to use the phone, you’ll go to the social menu on the phone and choose ask on date. A menu will open showing all the sims available for you to ask on a date and you can pick one and then choose a location and the date will begin.
You can satisfy this requirement without even getting bronze on the date! All you need to do is attend, you can even cancel the date immediately after.
Stage Two: Up to Date
The charisma skill is a great one to have to gain for this aspiration because you’ll need to make lots of friends and charismatic sims can earn relationships quicker. To gain this skill you can do a few things.
The first is reading charisma skill books that you can purchase on a bookcase. The second is to click on a mirror and choose to practice speech to gain the skill. Finally, you can just do social interactions with other sims!
- Have Had 3 First Kisses
When you reach around 15% romance with another sim you can finally give them a smooch! At 15% you’ll see the first kiss interaction appear with a set of hearts next to it.
When you do this the two sims will smooch and you’ll see hearts next to their head and it’s super adorable.
Stage Three: Romance Juggler
In the last part of this aspiration your sim needed to reach level 4 of the charisma skill, so you’re already more than halfway there. To keep gaining the skill just keep practicing speeches or doing social interactions!
- Have a Strong Romantic Relationship With 3 Sims at Once
The game considers a “strong” romantic relationship to be at least 50% romance with another sim. So, your sim needs to have three of these going at the same time. Just be careful not to flirt too much in public because you might get caught cheating!
- Kiss 10 Sims
Your sim is ready to start kissing anyone at this point. You’ll need to get to at least 15 romance with 10 different sims because that’s when the first kiss option appears and that’s the minimum you need to do with each sim to satisfy this requirement.
Stage Four: Serial Romantic
- Earn Gold on 3 Dates
The first task of this final stage is to earn gold on 3 dates. When you go on a date with another sim you’ll see a menu appear in the top left corner with tasks to complete.
To get gold you need to do as many of these interactions as possible, as quickly as possible. Finishing the main goal of socializing with your date can get your sim to at least bronze. You’ll need to continue focusing on the tasks until you reach gold!
- Have Had 8 Romantic Partners
The final task is to have 8 romantic partners. This means you need to ask 8 different sims to be your romantic partner. However, it says have had which means that you are able to break up with sims and they will still count toward this.
I just mean that you don’t need to have 8 romantic partners at once for this aspiration.
At this point you’ve already kissed 10 sims, so you have some romantic relationship with many sims, so this shouldn’t be too hard.
Player Reward Trait
When your sim manages to finish the sims 4 serial romantic aspiration they’ll be given the player reward trait. This trait’s description says “Players will never cause other sims to get jealous, no matter what they do.”
This allows your sims to cheat on their partners as much as they want, which is evil but fun!
