If your sim wants to run a business based on self care the sims 4 self-care specialist aspiration is a good one.
This aspiration was added to The Sims 4: Spa Day with the spa day refresh and was a welcome addition!
When completed your sim will get a reward trait that helps them earn more money than they could before.
Spa Membership Bonus Trait
When you start your sim with any of the wellness aspirations like this one (or the inner peace aspiration) your sim will given the Spa Membership bonus trait.
This trait’s description says “These sims somehow came into possession of Spa Membership. Nobody is really sure where it came from, how to cancel it, or who keeps paying for it each month. But one thing is for certain all fees at Spas are waived! Nice!”
Having this trait for your sim means that they can get any spa services done without every having to pay a penny.
Best Traits for The Sims 4 Self-Care Specialist Aspiration
When you create a sim and choose their aspiration you may want to make sure that their traits match their aspiration. You’ll see that these traits can help with this aspiration:
- Outgoing: Your sim needs to have clients and spend tons of time around others, so being outgoing can be a helpful trait.
- High Maintenance: In this aspiration your sim needs to become a spa regular, so being high maintenance is a good thing. Your sim can enter a state of catharsis if they take good enough care of themselves!
Aspiration Tasks
This aspiration actually only has one level to it, with four tasks. When you complete each task you’ll get satisfaction points to spend and finishing the enter thing will get you the self-care expertise reward trait.
- Hustle for §5000
For this part of the aspiration your sim needs to earn 5000 simoleons through different wellness related activities. This includes things like:
- hosting yoga classes
- hosting meditation classes
- doing massages
- doing manicures and pedicures
In the other parts of this aspiration your sim needs to become a spa regular and do all sorts of work at a Spa so you’ll be working on this while doing the rest of the sections! You’ll want to grow your relationships with customers because I’ve found a sim who is my friend is more likely to tip after a service.
The best way to earn a lot of money at once is to host public yoga or public meditation classes because you will get paid per customer! So, instead of getting paid for one manicure you can have a whole class of customers paying you.
- Gain Self-Care Notoriety
The best way to get customers who are there for YOU is to promote your services. You can do this by clicking on whatever thing you’re using (i.e., massage chair or massage table) and clicking promote services on Simstagram.
When you do this you can gain more followers and every time you gain followers you’ll have more sims who want to be serviced by your sim. You’ll need to promote your services 10 total times for this part of the aspiration.
You’ll only be able to promote your services about once every 24 hours so you’ll need to do this daily for ten days.
- Become a Spa Regular
Becoming a “regular” at a spa in this instance doesn’t mean getting services, it means giving them! Your sim will need to do 20 different services at a Spa Venue. This can include things like:
- giving manicures and pedicures
- giving massages
- hosting meditation classes
- hosting yoga classes
While you’re at the Spa Lot you can click a massage chair or table and tend it, then you can click on sims who are walking around (and don’t work there) and offer them services. This is a great way to get the services done and earn some of that hustle money without needing to wait for customers to come to you.
- Maintain a Regular Customer
The key to being able to maintain a regular customer was offering services. I’ve had sims who came back for like two services but getting them to come back for ten services was hard.
I decided to start offering services to my coworkers at the Spa, since they’re always there. I just offered services whenever my sim didn’t have another client and this all worked out with getting me a regular customer!
You can also invite a sim to travel to the Spa lot with you and then offer them services, but it can’t be someone in your own household!
Hack: Work at the Spa over night, regular customers may not come but you’ll be able to have the same worker request your services over and over which is a weird thing but it made me get a regular customer after a few evenings!
Self-Care Expertise Reward Trait
When your sim finishes off the sims 4 self-care specialist aspiration they’ll be awarded with the self-care expertise trait. This trait’s description reads “This sim will be the self-care expert and develop an expertise for all things wellness. Clients will now cough up way more money for their services.”
This trait is awesome if you want to keep running a business with your skills because you’ll earn even more money than before!
