How to Get Seashells in The Sims 4
I’m obsessed with collecting in the game and the sims 4 seashells collection makes for really cute decor.
This collection comes to your game with The Sims 4: Island Living and you’ll find these cuties in Sulani.
How to Get Seashells in The Sims 4
There are a few ways you can find these seashells for your collection and all of them take place in the world of Sulani. You can have your sim go beachcombing, go explore the Sulani cave or have them go diving.
Beachcombing in the Sand
The easiest way to find sea shells is to go beach combing. To do this you’ll click on any sand in Sulani and choose beachcomb > comb beach for sea shells. Your sim will dig around in the sand and can get sea shells from this!

Exploring the Sulani Cave
There are a lot of secrets to discover in Sulani and in the Mua Pel’am neighbourhood behind the Admiral’s Wreckage lot you can find a small cave that your sim can explore.

When you explore this cave your sim will get notifications giving you tons of lore and you’ll be able to get items including sea shells and buried treasure too!

Diving for Seashells
There are specific buoys in deeper water in Sulani and when you click on these you can go diving. You’ll know you have the right one if it has an option to purchase dive gear. To dive for seashells your sim will need to purchase a 250 simoleon dive knife.

Once you purchase this you’ll click on the buoy and choose free dive for sea shells. Your sim will change into dive gear and dive deep into the water and if you’re lucky, they’ll come back with sea shells.

If you also have your sim purchase the rebreather you’ll be able to go scuba diving for sea shells as well. This will let your sim get more than one sea shell per dive so you can get them faster.

When you find the very last sea shell you’ll get a notification that says “Congratulations, this household has completed the Seashells collection!”

A few days after this you’ll get some mail. In the mail you’ll get a plaque to celebrate your completion of the sims 4 sea shells collection. This plaque is called The Unshellfish Collector!

This description for the plaque says “Well done! The Elder Crustacean Court has sent you this plaque to commemorate your gallant service in the ongoing battle against the mollusks. They are impressed by your fearsome collection that almost rivals their own. Confining so many husks to their sworn enemies to your over-water dwelling is no easy task and surely worthy of this high honour.”
