If you want to try everything in the game the sims 4 renaissance sim aspiration is a great option!

This aspiration has your sim joining tons of different careers and gaining a bunch of different skills.

Quick Learner Bonus Trait

When you start your sim with a knowledge aspiration they are going to get the quick learner bonus trait. This trait’s description says “Quick learners build all skills a little bit faster.”

This is one of the best bonus traits because it applies to all skills so your sim can do anything and do it faster!

Best Traits for Sims 4 Renaissance Sim Aspiration

If you want to gain skills quicker for this aspiration you’ll want to pick some great traits like these:

  • Quick Learner: This is the bonus trait sims get when they started with a knowledge aspiration and it makes it so your sim gains skills faster.
  • Practice Makes Perfect: With this trait sims will start gaining skills slowly, but eventually they get a boost to skill gains. Plus, strong focused moodlets.
  • Overachiever: This skill comes with The Sims 4: High School Years. It makes sims raise skill faster and gives happy moodlets when they finish work tasks.

You can also purchase some really incredible reward traits from the satisfaction points store to make your sim better at gaining skills and getting promotions:

  • Morning Sim (1,000): This reward trait makes your sim gain skills faster in the morning.
  • Night Owl (1,000): This reward trait makes your sim gain skills faster in the evening.
  • Savant (4,000): Sims with this reward trait earn skills much faster than other sims.
  • Connections (3,000): Sims with this reward trait are able to start careers a few levels in!
  • Carefree (3,000): Sims with this trait never get tense, which means you can make your sims work hard at work without getting a tense moodlet when they come home.
  • Entrepreneurial (2,000): Sims with this trait are more likely to get promoted.

  • Study Spot: This lot trait from The Sims 4: Discover University gives a small skill boost to every skill which is so helpful!
  • There are so many lot traits you can add to gain skills faster:
    • Great Acoustics: Singing, Guitar, Piano, Violin, DJ Mixing
    • Faster Internet: Programming, Video Gaming and Writing
    • Homey: Cooking, Gourmet Cooking, Baking, Mixology, Handiness and Gardening
    • Science Lair: Logic and Rocket Science
    • Convivial: Charisma, Comedy, and Mischief
    • Bracing Breezes: Fitness and Wellness
  • Peace and Quiet: This lot traits comes from The Sims 4: Jungle Adventure and helps sims get skills from books faster.

Stages of the Aspiration

There are four stages of the sims 4 renaissance aspiration to play through. Each section has tasks to complete and when you do your sims will get satisfaction points to spend in the reward store!

Stage One: Prudent Student

  • Finish Reading 3 Books

The first thing your sim needs to do is finish reading three books. To do this you’ll need to purchase a bookcase or go to the library, then click on it and choose read and pick a book.

You’ll need to get your sim to completely finish reading the book before cancelling it to satisfy this need. You can read any type of book, even skill books or children’s books.

For this aspiration you’ll need to gain tons of different skills but we start with logic. This skill is gained in a number of ways from playing chess to using the observatory to using the microscope to examine items you find. The easiest way is to just play some chess!

Stage Two: Jack of Some Trades

  • Become an Adult

Your sim will need to be a young adult or older to keep working on this aspiration since you need to work through regular careers. You’ll satisfy this need by aging up a teen to young adult or having your sim already be a young adult when you got here.

  • Achieve Level 4 in 4 Skills

This aspiration is all about being good at tons of things, so your sim needs to gain level 4 in 4 different skills. Thankfully starting at this part of the aspiration you can pick whatever skills you want.

Great options are the cooking skill so you can create beautiful meals for your family and skills you can make money from like gardening or painting.

  • Reach Level 3 of Any Career

This aspiration isn’t about a specific career track, it’s just about trying out a bunch of them! To start a career you’ll click on the find a job option in your sim’s career panel and pick whatever job you’d like.

Your sim will need to get to level 3 of this career before quitting and moving on. You’ll have specific skills your sim needs to earn that will appear in the career panel as well as a daily task to do before you head to work again to increase your performance.

Stage Three: Pantologist

  • Achieve Level 5 in 5 Skills

For this aspiration your sim just needs to gain tons of different skills. You’ll need to get to level 5 in 5 different skills so just work on various skills that you can use to your advantage in other ways!

  • Reach Level 3 in 2 Careers

Your sim now needs to reach level 3 in a second career! Since you need to do multiple careers you’ll want to quit your old careers first, so you have time. You can do this in your sim’s phone under the business category and you’ll get a notification telling you that your sim has quit!

Stage Four: Renaissance Sim

  • Achieve Level 8 in 6 Skills

To finish this aspiration your sim will need to get to level 8 in 6 different skills. This applies to any skills you’d like to get, from cooking to handiness to gardening.

The handiness skill is a great option to do with this because you can upgrade items around your home to make them never break and gain the skill while improving your home.

  • Reach Level 3 in 3 Careers

It’s now time for your sim to move onto a new career path! You’ll just need to reach level 3 on a third career to finish of this aspiration and get the professorial reward trait.

Professorial Reward Trait

When your sim finishes the sims 4 renaissance sim aspiration they are going to get the professorial reward trait. This trait’s description says “Professorial sims can write helpful manuals about any skill they’re well-versed in.”

This means you can go to the writing section on a computer and choose write skill book and your sim will have any skill they have a high level in available here.

You’ll be able to publish these books and start earning royalties!
