All of The Sims 4 Plant Grafting Combinations

If you want to finish the gardening collection you are able to use Sims 4 plant grafting combinations to create new plants!

This is an awesome way to skip having to find seeds in other ways, by taking a cutting from each of them and creating something new entirely.

How to Graft Plants Together

The first thing you need to know is that you don’t have access to grafting until your sim reaches level 5 of the gardening skill.

If you want to cheat to get there you can use stats.set_skill_level Major_Gardening 5 to do it without the effort!

To start the process you’ll want to go to your first plant and click on it. You’ll choose take cutting and you’ll get a spliced garden shoot in your sim’s inventory.

You then go to the second plant and choose graft and a menu will open and you can choose that spliced garden shoot from your sim’s inventory.

The plant will do one of two things. It might create a brand new plant (if its a grafting combination) or it might create a hybrid plant where you’ll be able to harvest both types of plants from the same spot.

Here’s an example of a grafted together plant. Below you can see a grape plant, a strawberry plant and a bonsai plant. If you take a cutting from a grape plant and graft it onto the strawberry plant you’ll get the bonsai buds plant!
