The Sims 4 Perfectly Pristine Aspiration
If you want a sim with a clean household the sims 4 perfectly pristine aspiration is a great choice.
This comes with The Sims 4: Bust The Dust which brings a whole filth system to your sims household.
Your sim is going to spend so much time cleaning, be prepared!
Enabling Dust
Before you start working on this aspiration you must make sure you have dust enabled! You can find this option under pack settings in the game options menu. Make sure that the check box is green!

Home Turf Bonus Trait
When you have a sim who starts with one of the fun location aspirations they are going to get the home turf trait. This trait makes it so your sim is happiest when they are in their home neighbourhood.

This is actually a great trait for your sim to have because they’ll be spending so much time at home cleaning and this can help them be happier more consistently.
Best Traits for The Sims 4 Perfectly Pristine Aspiration
Usually when writing this guides I have a bunch of traits to add, but honestly, there’s only one that’s a necessity. You should definitely have a sim with this aspiration have the neat trait!
Sims who are neat are going to get happy moodlets and increase their fun need when doing their household chores! They can even do a cleaning frenzy and clean the whole house at once, which is so helpful for keeping it pristine.
Plus, sims with the neat trait can clean items without them being dirty!
A fun lot trait you may want to add is Penny Pixies from The Sims 4: City Living. This trait lets sims find a small amount of simoleons when they are cleaning so you can get a few extra dollars here and there!
Stages of the Aspiration
There are four stages of the sims 4 perfectly pristine aspiration to work through which all involve cleaning all the time. Your sims are going to get satisfaction points each time they finish a task and they can spend those on awesome reward traits!
Stage One: Basic Home Training

- Clean 3 Kitchen or Bathroom Objects
The first thing you need to do is clean three objects in the kitchen or bathroom. These include things like sinks, toilets, showers, tubs and stoves. This list of items gets dirty pretty frequently, so you’ll be able to clean them relatively quick. You can even just use a sink over and over to get it dirty then clean it.

Sims with the neat trait are able to clean items over and over, even if they just cleaned them. Having that trait is so helpful for this aspiration because you can finish this type of task so much faster.
- Vacuum for 3 Hours
To be able to vacuum for 3 hours your sim will need to own either an upright vacuum or a cordless vacuum which are both purchasable in the build catalog.

Once you have this item you’ll put it in your sim’s inventory and then click on the ground and choose vacuum here. Your sim will start vacuuming and you just need to let them do it for three total hours to get this done.

- Wash 3 Dishes
Your next task is to have your sim wash 3 dishes. Easy! Just get them to cook meals and eat them (or just clean up full plates) and then click on them and choose clean up. Your sim will head to a sink and start washing, just do this three times.

Important Note: Your sim needs to hand wash these dishes! Putting them into a dish washer does not count. So, delete your dishwasher to finish this.
- Empty The Trash
Your next task is to empty the trash from an indoor bin to an outdoor bin. You’ll need to have two bins, one of the smaller wastebaskets that you can place in your kitchen and one that goes outside.

You’ll need to have something in the trash before emptying it, you can drag a plate of food to the garbage to fill it up. Then click on the indoor bin and choose empty trash and your sim will bring it to their outdoor bin and it will satisfy this requirement.

Stage Two: Proactive Cleaning

- Clean Up 5 Messes
Your sim needs to clean up five messes that are on the ground for this part of the sims 4 perfectly pristine aspiration. You have a few options here, you can clean mop puddles on the floor that happen in bathrooms when items break.
You can also vacuum up a dirt pile mess on the floor that happens when your sim’s house gets from clean to dusty!

If you have other DLC installed you can clean up other messes too. For example, with Parenthood you can clean up kid’s paint messes or with Cats & Dogs you can clean up pet messes like poo!
- Wash Hands After Using the Toilet
This aspiration is so silly, it’s fun! Your sim needs to wash their hands after using the toilet. So, click on a toilet and choose use and hopefully your sim will wash their hands.

Sims who have the neat trait will always do this. Sims who have the slob trait will never wash their hands, ew. If your sim doesn’t do it automatically you can get them to use the toilet then click on the sink to wash hands right after.
This one took me a while to figure out because when I checked the dust levels it said my house was clean but I couldn’t find an interaction to show off clean house. Well, that’s because it doesn’t exist!
What you need to do for this part of the aspiration is wait until your sim gets the Fine + 1 moodlet called Sparkling Clean Surroundings. The second you see this moodlet appear you need to click on a sim in the relationship panel and invite them over.

Once a sim got onto my sim’s lot and was knocking on the door this was satisfied but it only happens when this moodlet is active.
The next thing you need to do is get your sim the +4 Perfectionist Zeal moodlet. So, this is a layered moodlet where your sim can get a +1 moodlet first before getting the +4.

To make this appear your sim just needs to clean things that are already clean! You can do this by cleaning sinks and toilets or by vacuuming around on a clean floor level in your sim’s house. Just keep doing cleaning interactions until it appears.
Stage Three: Vacuum Virtuoso

- Purchase a Handheld and Upright Vacuum
At this point you may have just purchase one of the vacuum types, but you need both if you want to be a neat freak!

Your sim needs one of the upright and one of the handheld vacuums in their inventory to satisfy this requirement.
- Destroy 3 Dust Bunnies or Filth Fiends with Vacuum Cleaner
When your sim’s house gets to a dusty level you have a chance of a dust bunny appearing. They are seriously cute and make me smile. You have the option to feed them dust, pet them, and even become friends with them. However, a clean sim doesn’t want this guy in their home!

When you see one of these you need to click on them and choose the vacuum option to satisfy this. Annoyingly you sim needs to do this multiple times, so you’ll actually need to let your house get dusty to have these appear.
A filth fiend only appears when your house is dirtier, so this sim would probably hate that so I just stuck to dust bunnies.
- Destroy 5 Messy or Dust Pile Objects with Vacuum Cleaner
When you have messes on the floor your sim has two options, to clean it up traditionally or to use their vacuum. For example, a puddle on the floor can be mopped or your sim can click on that and choose vacuum!
A pile of dust on the floor can be thrown away or vacuumed. You just need to find messes on the floor and choose the vacuum option to clean it up.

- Perform 2 Upgrades on a Vacuum Cleaner
There are upgrades on dozens of items in the game that are made by having high levels of the handiness skill.

Your sim needs to perform two of these upgrades but there are four to choose from:
- Bottomless Pit: Makes your vacuum never get full and overflow
- Vaporizing Pulse: Makes your vacuum clean by “vaporizing nearby messes”
- Self-Charging Power Cell: Makes your vacuum run without using power which makes it functional off-the-grid
- Titanium Rotors: Makes your vacuum unbreakable
Finish these upgrades and you’ll be able to finish this stage of the aspiration!
Stage Four: Chief Cleaning Officer

- Throw a Party or Social Event in a Clean House
When you click the floor and choose check dust level and the notification says clean, it’s time to party!

You’ll want to head to your sim’s phone and choose plan social event from the social menu and pick any of the parties that are available.

Your guests will come over and you’ll satisfy this need when the party is over!
- Clean for 5 Hours in a Happy, Confident, Inspired or Focused Mood
Your next task is to clean for five hours while feeling certain moods. Here’s how you can get into these moods:
- Happy: Have a sim have high needs and a clean, well decorated houses
- Inspired: Take a thoughtful shower
- Confident: Psych self up in a mirror and brush teeth at a sink
- Focused: Ponder moves on a chess table
All you need to do is get your sim into any of these moods and then start cleaning your house. You can do anything from doing dishes, cleaning bathroom objects or vacuuming.
- Successfully Ask or Demand that Other Sims Clean 3 Times
There are three ways you can satisfy this requirement. The first way is to click on the floor and choose ask for help cleaning and then choose a sim to clean.

Your next option is to click on a sim and find the ask for help cleaning option that is sometimes available.

Your final option is meaner, to go to the mean interactions menu and go to arguments and choose order to clean. This will have a negative impact on the relationship between the two sims and will give the other sim an angry moodlet, oops!

- Hire a Housekeeping Service 2 Times
If you have a sim who loves to be clean, a housekeeping service is a great idea. To do this you’ll want to click hire a service and pick either one time maid or scheduled maid.

If you choose one time maid you’ll need to hire them twice. If you choose scheduled maid they will come every weekday at the same time and that will satisfy the need on day two!
Fast & Fastidious Reward Trait
When your sim finishes the sims 4 perfectly pristine aspiration they are going to be awarded the fast & fastidious trait. This trait is great for neat sims!
This trait’s description says “Sims don’t get negative moodlets or lose fun when cleaning. Sims will clean at a more rapid pace and are more likely to become focused when cleaning. For maximal cleaning efficiency, fast & fastidious sims can use the “power clean” and “power vacuum” interactions.”

This trait is amazing for sims who are busy or have large families and need to clean quick. When your sim does the power clean or power vacuum interactions they are going to get a confident moodlet!
