The Sims 4 Paragon of Hope Aspiration
If when your sim finished the Hope VS Order aspiration you wanted to help the resistance you’ll play through the sims 4 paragon of hope aspiration.
In this aspiration from The Sims 4: Journey to Batuu your sim will need to help take down the first order!
Prepared Voyager Bonus Trait
When you start your sim with any of the star wars aspirations you’ll get the prepared voyager bonus trait. This trait is helpful since you’ll be in Batuu so much because it helps by filling up your sim’s needs slightly any time you travel to a different neighbourhood.

Stages of the Aspiration
There are three stages of the sims 4 paragon of hope aspiration to play through. Each has interesting tasks to complete and you’ll need to do things like exploring the caves, increasing your resistance rank and completing missions.
Stage One: For The Resistance

- Introduce Self to 3 Resistance Members
Your very first task is to introduce yourself to three members of the resistance. You can hover over sims at any time to see their information but your best bet is to travel to the resistance encampment and introduce yourself to sims there!

Click on these sims and do any introduction to make this happen.
- Explore the Caves of Batuu
Your next task is to explore the Batuu caves which are located in the resistance encampment neighbourhood. You’ll see them located next to a large waterfall and clicking on them will give you explore batuu caves as an option!

- Complete 2 Missions for the Resistance
Being able to do missions for the resistance isn’t as easy as it is with the first order, you’ve got to know the secret! First you need to do the ask about resistance interaction so you can unlock the ignite the spark interaction with members of the resistance.

When you use the ignite the spark interaction with any member of the resistance you’ll get a menu opening where you can choose a mission.

When you pick one you’ll see the information for it in your sim’s career panel where you’ll see the tasks. For this mission my tasks were:
- Acquire a Dataspike from the Scoundrel Contact
- Obtain Comm Tower Access Codes
- Disrupt First Order Transmission

For this mission you’ll need to hangout at Oga’s Cantina until you find a sim who’s description is Scoundrel Contact which you can see by hovering over sims. Then, you’ll obtain a dataspike from this sim.

You’ll need to get comm tower access codes by finding a control panel in the First Order District. You’ll analyze it and that will tell you which way to get into it and you’ll be able to unlock the ability to get these access codes.

Finally, you need to disrupt a first order transmission. For this you’ll need to find the communication tower and disrupt their transmissions by clicking on it.

Once you finish a mission you’ll report back and get rewards. Just do two missions just by igniting the spark and completing the tasks to pass this section of the aspiration.
Stage Two: Protector of Batuu

- Recruit 3 Sims to the Resistance
Being a part of the resistance only works if you can get other sims to join you! You’ll need to click on sims and use the inspire to join the resistance interaction to make this happen. You’ll find it under the friendly interactions menu.

Just don’t ask anyone who is in the first order, they may arrest you! You can also ask sims that aren’t in Batuu, I’ve asked Mortimer Goth to join me.
- Obtain a Droid Companion
There are two types of droid companions you can get, either a BB Unit or an R unit. You’ll need 1,000 galactic credits to order one but you also need to have pieces of scrap metal to do this. If you don’t have the scrap metal you can click on the building and choose purchase toys and scrap.

A droid depot menu will appear and your sim can purchase scrap metal for 75 credits each, which is pricey but the droid is worth it.

Once you have enough you can click to order a custom unit on the building and the customization menu will open. You’ll get to name your droid and choose a head and body for it.

Once you’ve created the droid it’ll appear behind your sim and you’ll get a notification congratulating you!

- Override the Locks and Loot 2 Supply Crates in the First Order District
Being in the resistance is about taking down the first order so you need to steal stuff from them, duh. You’ll find black supply crates around the First Order District and they are filled with loot.

When you find one of these you’ll click on it and choose attempt to override locks and finish that interaction. Then click again to open the supply crate.
Be careful though, getting caught can get your sim arrested! That’s why it’s important to have a high programming skill because sims will override the locks faster with a high programming skill.
Stage Three: Paragon of Hope

- Infiltrated the First Order Cargo Building and Slice the Holotable
The first order cargo building is located in the first order district.

You’ll find a door between your sim and the holotable you need to access. You’ll need to spoof the lock on the door to get inside, without getting caught.

The key to getting this done quickly is to have a high level of the programming skill because sims with that skill will be able to spoof the access codes to the door faster.
Once you gain access you’ll want to hide behind the wall until any members of the First Order are away from the holo table because getting caught can get you arrested.
Click on the holotable and choose slice holotable > skim credits to satisfy this requirement.

If you don’t have the required dataspike you can purchase one at any time from the holotable inside of the resistance bunker. You’ll find it by clicking down to go to the lower floor in the resistance neighbourhood.

- Explore 5 Times in the X-Wing
You aren’t allowed to explore in the X-Wing until you reach level 5 reputation with the resistance. You’ll grow your reputation by finishing missions! When you reach level 5 you can click on the X-Wing in the resistance encampment and choose explore.
You can find the X-Wing ship in the resistance encampment neighbourhood at any time.

This works a lot like exploring space where your sim will fly away and you’ll get action cards and can return with rewards. Your sim will even gain the rocket science skill while they’re exploring.
- Reach Resistance Reputation Rank 5
Reaching rank 5 reputation within the resistance is easy but it will take a decent amount of time. Your sim will need to do a lot of missions. This will take a while, but the missions aren’t hard to do. It’ll just take you a while! Each completed mission will give you reputation points toward your rank.
Heroic Presence Reward Trait
If your sim finishes the Sims 4 Paragon of Hope aspiration they are going to be given the heroic presence reward trait. This trait’s description reads “Heroic sims gain charisma more easily, and can also inspire others with their presence.”
