- Creative Visionary: This is a reward store trait that you purchase for 2,000 satisfaction points. This gives a huge 20% chance increase to your sim’s ability to create masterpieces!
- Perfectionist: Sims with this trait are going to take longer to create paintings but they are going to be a higher quality!
- Creative: Sims with this trait are more likely to get inspired moodlets which is the ideal mood for painting.
3. Your Household’s Lot Traits Have an Impact
The lot traits you add to your sim’s house have an impact on so much that you wouldn’t even realize. Most players don’t even use lot traits because they either don’t realize they exist or they forget about them. Here’s some helpful lot traits for creating masterpieces:
- Home Studio: The home studio lot trait comes with The Sims 4: City Living and gives big impacts to the painting skill. The best part? It gives your sims a higher chance at creating higher quality paintings!
- Natural Light: This lot trait gives bonuses to the painting skill, so you can get your skill up faster.
- Sunny Aspect: Ideally your sims will be inspired when painting and this lot trait from City Living can give your sim a random trait (either inspired, energized, or happy) each day at 6PM so those inspired moodlets can help.
