How to get an Orchid in The Sims 4

If you want to get your hands on a death flower you’ll need a sims 4 orchid.

This is a rare plant in the game and requires a little bit of effort to get your hands on it.

How to get an Orchid in The Sims 4

There are two ways you can get an orchid in the game. The first way is through grafting and the second is through rare seed packets.

Grafting Plants Together

Grafting is a way to take two types of plants and turn them into a new plant which is a great way to get the more rare plants like the sims 4 orchid. However you can’t start grafting until you reach level 5 of the gardening skill.

To get an orchid with grafting you’ll need to first grow a snapdragon and a lily. You can get a snapdragon around almost every world or in a starter flowers seed packet.

You can get a lily from an uncommon seed packet which unlocks at level 7 of the gardening skill.

Once both of these plants are grown you’ll click on one and choose take cutting and then go to the other plant and choose graft and graft that cutting on it.

When you do this you’ll get a new plant that when harvested will give you lilies, snapdragons and orchids. You can then take those orchids and plant them by themselves for full orchid plants.

Purchasing Rare Seed Packets

At level 10 of the gardening skill your sim can start purchasing rare seed packets. These have awesome items in them like death flowers and the orchid flower.

You can purchase these from the computer in the order menu and by clicking on planter pots and choosing to purchase seeds. They’ll appear in your sim’s inventory and you can click on them to open them. They cost 1,000 simoleons each so you’ll need to purchase a few and spend a lot of money to get an orchid this way.
