The Sims 4 Nurture Plants Formative Moment
Learning to garden is great and with the Sims 4 Nurture Plants formative moment your kids can learn too!
These formative moments came from The Sims 4: Adventure Awaits and give more colour and meaning to a child’s life in the game.
The Sims 4 Nurture Plants Formative Moment
- “I’m going to have at least 5 plants at once… but they all have to be alive or it doesn’t count.”
The first thing you need to do is have your child plant five plants at one time. You can go to a computer to order seeds or click on a garden planter. You can also get seed packets in build mode.
You’ll open the seed packets and drag the plants onto either a garden planter and the ground. Then, you’ll click on them and choose plant. However, your sim must have at least level 4 of the mental skill before kids are able to plant anything!
- “I want to harvest a plant that I grew all by myself!”
To get a plant to be able to be harvested you need to wait a few days after planting it. You’ll want to water the plants on the in-between days so your plants stay alive! In the morning (around 6AM) the plants will bloom and you can click on it and choose harvest.
However, kids can’t do this until they reach level 6 of the mental skill! You can gain that skill by playing chess or playing arithmetic attack on a computer.
Had a Green Thumb as a Kid Trait
When your sim finishes this formative moment they’ll get the had a green thumb as a kid trait. This trait’s description reads “As a child, this sim learned about plant needs and how to care for them. As an adult, they’ll advance more quickly in the Gardening Skill.”
