How to Get The Not Mushroom for Error Fable
To get this fable you’ll need to head to Sprucederry Grove and find a tree stump with a face. You’ll click on this and choose summon.
When you do this a sim named Spruce Almighty will appear. you’ll click on this sim, introduce yourself and then click again to find acquire a fable. A menu will appear and you can choose this fable.

- Solve Blue Mushroom’s Riddle
“Enchanted not, a natural glow. In day I sleep, at night I show. An eerie huge of ghostly play, instead of fright, I light the way! What am I?”
The two answers you can give are modernized mushroom lamp which requires your sim to be inspired or bioluminescent mushroom which requires you to have lightning root leaves.
If you don’t have either of the requirements met you’ll click be right back and come back when you’re ready.
The correct answer is lightning root leaves. When you answer correctly you’ll get a notification saying IA delightful answer!”
To get lightning root leaves you have a couple of options. The first is have level ten of the apothecary skill and click on an apothecary table and choose purchase advanced apothecary ingredients. Lightning root leaves will be an option.
You other option is to find a wild lightning root in Everdew. You can find a lightning root plant right outside of the Summerdream household. You’ll click on it and choose collect lightning root leaves.

You answer options are fly agaric or amanita muscaria and you don’t require anything to answer this one.
The answer you need is fly agaric! When you give the answer you’ll get a notification saying “You’re such a good sport-t!”
- Solve Green Mushroom’s Riddle
“A Laurent chef’s awarded dish. A forager’s ultimate wish. Rich but not rare, the Landgraabs eat, but to the rags, a chocolate sweet. What am I?”
The options are a truffle which requires your sim to have more than 5000 simoleons in household funds, or a mushroom steak which requires less than 5000 in household funds.
The answer you need is a truffle! When you answer this you’ll get a notification saying “You have such taste”
If you don’t have more than 5,000 simoleons in your household funds you can either wait and earn more money or use money cheats like money 5,001 to get it instead.
- Solve Yellow Mushroom’s Riddle
“Come dance about, it’s time to play. Good luck or bad, we’re here to stay. A portal to fairy land? Or toadstool spores’ outward expand? What am I?”
The two options are a fairy home which requires five fairy dust or a fairy ring which requires you to be a fairy or to unlock an enchanted by nature notebook entry.
The answer you need is fairy ring! When you respond you’ll get a notification saying “A cap-tivating response!”
If you don’t want to become a fairy you can unlock a notebook entry. This can be done by completing other fables (the stubborn misfortune fable is an easy one).
Reward for Completing the Fable
“Soon one day enraged by modernity’s claim, their Gnomes came straight to defend. They descended upon the village town’s lawn, seeking justice for their dear friend. A war did break out, and at first it was thought that greenery could be preserved. But this battle they fought, would soon be found fraught, as failure was what they deserved. As so from betrayal, the maiden did leave. The spirit now all on their own. But with their good deeds the spirit believes her heart will be theirs once they’ve grown.”
When your sim finishes the final riddle they’ll complete the fable and get their rewards. The first reward is everdew seeds that you can plant in your sim’s lot. You’ll get:
- Moody Shrub Seed: Plant can be used to bottle emotions
- Aura Blossom Seed: Plant can be used to harvest aura petals for apothecary
Your sim will also get a Glaswood Tree which is the same tree stub thing you use to summon Spruce Almighty and you can place this on your lot and also summon him straight to your sim’s house.
