How to Get Moonwood Relics in The Sims 4

Sometimes when in Moonwood Mill you may come across some sims 4 Moonwood relics!

These are a fun collection from The Sims 4: Werewolves that requires your sims to have a Lunar Epiphany before they can learn anything about them.

How to Get Moonwood Relics in The Sims 4

The two best ways I’ve found to get these Moonwood Relics are fishing in Moonwood Mill and being a werewolf and scavenging. I’ve found one inside of the underground tunnels in Moonwood Mill but this took forever, so it’s easier to scavenge.

Fishing in Moonwood Mill

When you have your sim go fishing at any of the fishing spots in Moonwood Mill your sim can catch a few things. You can catch fish, upgrade parts, books about Moonwood Mill as well as these relics!

Scavenging

If your sim is a werewolf you can purchase them the Scavenger werewolf perk. This is available to a level one werewolf, so it’s super easy to get!

A hack for this is to also get your sim the enhanced smell perk because when you enhance your smell it will show you spots where you’ll get stuff, guaranteed.

With this you’ll want to click on the ground in Moonwood Mill and choose scavenge ground and your werewolf sim will dig around. When you scavenge you can find so many random things but you can find sims 4 Moonwood relics this way!

Deciphering the Engravings

When you find these you may notice that the description says something about how it’s masked by a lunar encryption. The description on these items isn’t readable unless you’re a werewolf who has unlocked the Lunar Epiphany dormant ability. This ability lets you sim read books and actually get more information about werewolves, and lets them read these relics.

To get the lunar epiphany you need to have your sim read werewolf books multiple times. After the first read you’ll get a notification saying “There might be more to discover if Your Sim gives this book another read”

Once you read books more than once you’ll unlock the epiphany and learn more from books and relics.

After having your Lunar Epiphany you’ll be able to click on these relics and choose to decipher engraving and this will allow the item to show the description so you can learn more.
