How to Get Magical Artifacts in The Sims 4
As a spellcaster your sim deserves cool stuff and you can have that with the sims 4 magical artifacts collection.
This collection from The Sims 4: Realm of Magic lets you have wands, brooms and familiars that you can use in gameplay!
How to Get Magical Artifacts in The Sims 4
There are two ways you can get these artifacts in the game. The first is to win duels against other spellcasters and the second is to purchase them from shops in the magic realm.
Winning Duels
You are able to win both wands and brooms by dueling for artifacts with other spellcasters. The easiest way to find a spellcaster to duel is to head to the magic realm.

You’ll click on the sim and choose magic duel > duel for artifacts. The two sims will duel together and if you win, you’ll get an artifact reward.

If you purchase the master duelist spellcaster perk your sim will have a higher chance at winning these duels.

Purchasing them in the Magic Realm
There’s an entire area of the Magic Realm that feels a lot like Diagon Alley. Your sims are able to purchase lots of really cool items from there! When you travel to the Magic Realm you’ll go down a small hill behind the portal and you’ll see a portal to Caster’s Alley.

You click on that and choose to travel to Caster’s Alley and your sim will go to the area where they can shop.
There are three shops to choose from, the first shop in the row is called Juan’s Wonderful One Stop Wand Warehouse. At this shop you can purchase wands and familiars for the magical artifacts as well as some magical tomes.

The second shop is Brooms, Baubles, and Beyond! and at this shop your sim can purchase brooms for the collection as well as crystals.

The final shop is called Questionable Quacks Emporium and it sells potion ingredients, so useful for creating potions but not for this collection of sims 4 magical artifacts.
Pro Tip: Purchase the Magical Discounts perk so you can spend 50% less on artifacts at these shops.

Using Your Magical Artifacts
After winning or buying these items you’ll need to set them to be your preferred item. This works the same for wands and brooms but slightly different for familiars. For wands and brooms you can click on one in your sim’s inventory and choose to set as preferred broom or preferred wand. This will make it so your sim always uses this item.

For familiars you’ll need to click on a familiar in your sim’s inventory and choose bind familiar.

When you click this an action card will open and you can name your familiar whatever you’d like. You can actually have multiple of them bound to your sim at once, you’ll just summon an individual familiar whenever you want.
When you have a familiar with your sim you’ll get a confident moodlet and you’ll see your sim’s magic be more successful and they’re more protected from death.
