How to Get Magic Beans in The Sims 4
Many moons ago there was an event for Plant Sims but you can still get sims 4 magic beans in the game.
If you collect these in the stump you can get your sim to turn into a Plant Sim!
How to Get Magic Beans in The Sims 4
There are two ways I’ve found that you can get your sim some magic beans, one with the base game and the other with Enchanted by Nature!
Purchasing Rare Seed Packets
If you get your sim to level 10 of the gardening skill you’ll be able to start purchasing rare seed packets. These are expensive costing 1,000 simoleons but are worth it. You can get items like the death flower in these.
You’ll purchase these and then click on them and choose to open them. You’ll get a random collection of rare plants and you can get any of the magic beans from this.
Asking Plant Sims in Innisgreen
If you have The Sims 4: Enchanted by Nature installed you can head to Everdew in the world of Innisgreen and you’ll find tons of plant sims walking around.
You can click on these sims and use the ask for a magic bean interaction to get one.
You’ll need to actually get the PlantSim into any of the moods for the magic beans including:
- Angry
- Playful
- Sad
- Uncomfortable
- Flirty
- Confident
It can be semi-hard to control the emotions of sims outside of your household, but it’s not impossible. Some things you can do is add emotional art to your sim’s house with an enabled emotional aura and invite a PlantSim over. You can also use the Moody Shrub to do this!
You’ll get a magic bean that corresponds to whatever mood the sim was in when you asked them, so you can control their emotion with the moody shrub or other decor and then ask over and over to get the collection done.
Types of Magic Beans
Angry Magic Bean
- “Ok, I’m shouting, I’m shouting! I’m a Magic Bean, and I’m shouting!”
- This is a common magic bean with a sale price of §10
Playful Magic Bean
- “Never has the purity of playfulness been so compact, as found here… within this Magic Bean!”
- This is a common magic bean with a sale price of §10
Sad Magic Bean
- “Blue… Sadness… a Magic Bean.”
- This is a common magic bean with a sale price of §10
Uncomfortable Magic Bean
- “WHAT?! So Uncomfortable!! Uggghhhhhh!”
- This is a common magic bean with a sale price of §10
Flirty Magic Bean
- “How you doin’ Flirty Magic Bean?”
- This is a common magic bean with a sale price of §10
Confident Magic Bean
- “I’m a Magic Bean. I know I’m a Magic Bean. I’m that confident.”
- This is a common magic bean with a sale price of §10
Reward for Completing the Collection
When you collect your final magic bean you’ll get a notification saying “Congratulations, this household has completed the Magic Bean collection! Now, place each of the size unique beans into the Magic PlantSim Stump to unlock the Water interaction. When this interaction is selected, watch as The Mystical Magic Bean Portal Tree instantly grows before your eyes. Do you desire to step within?”
To do this you’ll need to purchase the Magic PlantSim Stump for 410 simoleons and place it on your sim’s lot.
Once you place this item you can click on it and choose plant magic bean. You’ll be able to do one at a time, and only one of each.
Once you’ve planted all six beans you’ll unlock the option to water it.
When you do it will turn into The Mystical Magic Bean Portal Tree and you can click on it and choose to explore it.
When you exit the tree your sim will get a notification telling them that they have something in their pocket and in their inventory will be The Forbidden Fruit of the Plantsim.
If your sim consumes this fruit they will become a PlantSim!
