The Sims 4 Local Legends Quest
To find the location of the Cryptid Moth your sim will need to finish the Sims 4 Local Legends Quest and more from the Peculiar Plumbird.
These all come with The Sims 4: Adventure Awaits and send you on missions around town.
The Sims 4 Local Legends Quest Breakdown
- Ask Gibbi Point Locals About Unusual Bird
Your first task for the sims 4 local legends quest is to discuss the unusual bird with locals. Now, not all sims you see will have this option only sims from Gibbi Point will. You’ll click sims until you see one that has Plumbird interactions and choose ask about unusual bird.
- Search for and Investigate Plumbird Evidence in Jellyfish Junction
Just like in the feeding frenzy quest you’ll want to find the Plumbird fossil in Jellyfish Junction. This is located in the forest and rock area on the right side of the neighbourhood before you get to the light house. You’ll click the fossil and choose investigate plumbird evidence.
When you do this interaction you’ll get both an action card and a notification giving you information about the Plumbirds!
- Touch Glowworm Near The Electric Lagoon
The Electric Lagoon is a body of water in the Crystal Valley neighbourhood in the Crystal Valley neighbourhood. You’ll find it on the right side of the neighbourhood.
Right beside this body of water you’ll see some plants that have a slight glow to them. If you click on these during the day it’ll say only available at night so you need to come back after 8PM to touch them.
When you do this interaction, the body of water will put on a gorgeous display for you and be even cooler than before!
- Discuss Plumbird Evidence with Gibbi Point Locals
After you’ve investigated the fossil you’ll unlock this option. You’ll want to find more locals like Skip Broke and others and click on them and choose discuss Plumbird evidence.
They’ll give you some information about them too!
Fishing the quests like this one for the peculiar Plumbird will let your sim have all the knowledge to be able to see the Cryptid Moth and be able to finish the butterfly collection!
