If you start your sim with a popularity aspiration like this one you’ll see that they are given the gregarious bonus trait.

This trait’s description reads “Gregarious sims build friendly relationships faster.” This is great because your sim will have an easier time making friends with the members of their clubs.

- Outgoing: Being a leader of a club means your sim needs to enjoy being around other people and outgoing sims will love that!
- Self-Assured: In this aspiration your sim needs to gain the charisma skill and the ideal mood is confident for that skill. Well, self-assured sims are going to get confident moodlets often.

You can also add specific lot traits for your sim to be able to gain skills faster:
- Convivial: Your sim needs to gain the charisma skill, so convivial is great. This trait helps you by having your sim gain the charisma skill 50% faster and gives confident moodlets which are the best for gaining the skill.
Stages of the Aspiration
There are four stages of the sims 4 leader of the pack aspiration to play through. You’ll have your sim needing to be in a club, buy perks and become the leader of the club!
Stage One: Get Accepted

- Start or Join a Club
If you want your sim to become the leader of the pack, you’ll need them to join or start a club! To join or start a club you’ll want to go to the bottom right band corner of the screen and click social groups and you’ll see an option to join a club and you’ll click that to both start or join one.

Clicking this will open the club manager menu and you can choose any of the clubs below, except there are some differences. There are some you can just join immediately like the Garden Gnomes, some that you need to apply for, and some that you may not be qualified for just yet.

When the club says you aren’t qualified you can click on the i icon next to the join button and you’ll open the information menu. Here you can see what you need to have to join this club, for example, to join Spin Masters you need at least level 2 of the DJ Mixing skill.

Some clubs require you to “apply for invite” and clicking on these clubs will have a sim call you and invite you to an event so you can try and impress them. You’ll want to socialize with the members and make friends so that they are willing to let you join.

Joining any of these types of clubs will satisfy this requirement, but you can also start your own club instead! At the bottom of the join a club menu you can click the button to start a club!

A menu will open where you can give your club a name, choose members to join you and choose things like requirements as well as the activities you want your sims to participate in. Make all these choices them click the check mark to create the club to satisfy this requirement.
- Buy a Club Perk
When you’re at a club gathering you can earn Club Points to spend on Club Perks. These are earned through doing the recommended club activities. For example, in the Avant Gardes your sim will want to do things like playing video games, reading books, doing homework, drinking coffee, and writing.

You can see how many club points you have at any time in the bottom right corner of the Social Groups menu. There’s a little ribbon icon beside it and you can click on that to choose to spend those points on perks.

You’ll need to purchase a single perk for your sims to get this part done, and there’s a few that only require 100 points so you can purchase them pretty quick.
Stage Two: Private Gathering

- Be in a Club Gathering for 12 Hours
This part of the aspiration requires you to be in a club gathering for 12 hours straight. This means you need to make sure that your club member’s needs are taken care of, like making sure they’re eating and have access to a bathroom.
You can start a club gathering at any time by clicking start gathering at the bottom of the social groups menu for that club. A question will appear asking if you want to go to the club’s regular gathering place or have it at your current lot.

You’ll want to do all the activities that are recommended for this club, like reading and video games for Avant Gardes. It’s honestly not hard as long as you keep everyone happy!
- Perform 10 Club Activities
Like we discussed before, you can see the acceptable club activities in the Social Groups menu in the green section. The accepted tasks are different depending on the club you’re in, for example, the Garden Gnomes club wants your sims to collect frogs, go fishing and tend gardens.

You’ll want to do the club activities in this green s ection 10 times, but you can do the tasks more than once.
Stage Three: Spread the Word

For this part of the aspiration you’ll need to reach level 5 of the charisma skill, which is decently easy to do. There are a few ways to gain this skill including chatting with sims, reading charisma skill books or practicing a speech in the mirror.
- Talk About Clubs with 5 Club Members
This is super easy to do as well, and just takes a few social interactions. When you click on another sim and go to more choices and then find the clubs menu and you’ll have a bunch of options.

The things I found that worked for this included talk about *club name* and the options to praise or complain about leader. You can do this multiple times with the same member if your club doesn’t currently have enough members.
Stage Four: Leader of the Pack

- Earn 1000 Club Points
Earning 100 club points may sound hard, but it’s honestly not that bad. You’ll have gained a few hundred of them just by doing that 12 hour marathon. My sim was at 600+ points when I reached this stage of the aspiration.
You’ll just need to start gatherings and have your sim do all sorts of club activities. You’ll also gain points when other sims doing things too! So you’ll want to foster an environment where sims can do all of the club tasks.
- Lead a Club with 8 Sims
Your final task is to lead a club with 8 sims, either by creating a club or by joining one and overthrowing the leader. Let’s go over leading your own club first!
You’ll need to purchase two perks to be able to have 8 members as six members is the default. You’ll need to purchase both Capacity Upgrade 1 and 2 which will cost you 750 points total.

Once you do this you can ask specific sims to join through social interactions or you can click in the Social Groups menu on the plus signs where new members could be.
A menu will appear and you can choose specific new members from the world from there to fill the empty spots.

Your second option for this is to join a club and overthrow the leader! This is definitely the more fun option.
To do this you’ll need to do a few things including growing your relationship with a couple of the members and starting to talk to them about how the current leader is no good.
You’ll go into the clubs menu when clicking on another sim and find complain about leader and choose complain about *club name’s* leader to that sim. If it goes well, the other sim will agree with you and that’s a good sign.

I did this conversation with every sim in the club so that I had a better chance at convincing the leader to step down. Then, you go to your group’s leader and in that same menu you’ll find convince leader to step down.

If it works, you’ll get a notification saying that you’re right and maybe you should lead the group! Your sim will also get a +2 Confident moodlet that lasts 8 hours.
Now that you’re the leader you’ll need to make sure you have 8 members by purchasing those perks we discussed earlier and inviting sims to join you.
Natural Leader Reward Trait
Once your sim finishes off the sims 4 leader of the pack aspiration they’ll be given the natural leader reward trait. This trait’s description reads “Sims that are natural leaders will earn club points much faster, and they will be able to overthrow other leaders with ease.”

This is fun because your sim can take over any club they want! You’ll be able to overthrow any leader without having to do too much effort which is fun.
