Best Traits for the Sims 4 Jungle Explorer Aspiration

There are always traits that can help you finish an aspiration faster. Here’s a couple that can help with this one:

  • Loves the Outdoors: This aspiration is mostly done outdoors and having a trait like this can help you have your sim feel good more often.
  • Loner: Going through the jungle is a lonely game, so being a loner will help your sim have less bad experiences with a low social need

Stages of the Aspiration

There are four stages of this aspiration so you have a lot of tasks to complete. When you finish these tasks you’ll get satisfaction points to spend on reward store traits and items!

Stage One: Vacationer

  • Buy 3 Goods off the Marketplace Tables

The first thing you should do for this aspiration is get your sim to Selvadorada. To do this you’ll head to their phone and under the travel menu you’ll pick take a vacation. Then choose this world and pick a vacation rental.

Once you’re in the world you’ll want to travel to the Cantina “El Arbol Del Jaguar” lot in the bottom right corner.

This is the lot closest to the area where there are marketplace tables. When you first load into this lot you’ll need to wait for sims to spawn to work the tables.

Once sims appear and place items on these tables near the Cantina, you can click on individual items and choose to purchase. Do this to three items and you’ll satisfy this requirement.

In the same area as those market place tables you’ll see a food booth. Click on that and choose order food and a menu will appear, picking anything on the list will satisfy this requirement.

Your sim will purchase the meal and either stand and eat or sit at the nearby picnic table and the requirement will be completed.

This entire stage of the sims 4 jungle explorer aspiration happens right outside the Cantina. You just need to turn your attention to the statue of a sim that’s located by the marketplace tables.

All you need to do is click on that statue and click view. Your sim will go over and give it a look and this part will be completed.

Stage Two: Expedition Rookie

This skill isn’t the most fun to gain, but you can have fun with it. Most of this skill is gained through chatting with other sims about the world and eating Selvadoradian food at the food stall located outside the Cantina.

It’s now time to head into the jungle! How exciting, you’ll want to head to the Belomisia Trailhead lot which is on the left side of the world.

When your sim spawns to their right you’ll find a large arch covered in tree branches and leaves. You’ll click on that and choose to go through it with either your hands or a machete.

To avoid negative moodlets you’ll want to purchase as many items as you can to prepare, so buy a few machetes and other good stuff to protect your sim from the marketplace tables.

When you travel through that arch you’ll see a path you can take over a bridge with another one of those entrances at the other end, keep going until you hit that entrance and work through that one too.

When you spawn into the next area you’ll see two arches right in front of your sim if they were to walk forward. If you go to the one that’s furthest away from your sim and clear the path and travel through, it will satisfy this requirement.

To examine traps you’ll need to make your way into the temple lot. You’ll need to make it over the rope and wood bridge and head through the entrance at the end. Your sim will spawn into a lot and you’ll find the entrance to the temple area in there.

When you go through that entrance by clearing the way, you’ll end up at the temple.

You can use the level down button to see more of the temple but you’ll need to get through some puzzles and scary entrances to truly be let in.

For this part of the aspiration your sim needs to examine some of these traps. You’ll see things like a row of skeletons, interesting puzzles and more.

Examining these is great because it’ll give you more info to get you through the closed gates! The types of skills you have can impact how much information you have, you’ll get through the temple faster if your sim has high skills.

Stage Three: Regional Master

Being prepared before entering the jungle is great, so you should always head to the market and buy lots of stuff before you go. Throughout your time in the jungle you’ll have experiences where creatures attack you!

To defend against them you’ll need to have the proper item to make them go away, and each creature has different items. Here are some options for you:

  • Guzmania Pollenis Flower: Distracts bees and hornets
  • Plasma Bat Bait: Distracts the plasma bat
  • Dr.Parker’s Spider Repellent: Defends against spiders

Having these items in your sim’s inventory before heading to the jungle will be so helpful and make it so you never have bad experiences again!

Reaching level 5 of the skill is maxing it out, so you’ll be totally done gaining this skill. To keep gaining it, chat with other sims about things to do with the world or eat some Selvadoradian food!

There are three pieces to a relic that you need to have, the first is a base. They come in three varieties, either death, chaos or watcher. You’ll need a relic top that you’ll find in treasure chests that are wood carved and really funky. The final thing you need is a refined crystal that can be placed inside of it to give it all the power it needs.

Once you have the first two items you can click on one in your sim’s inventory and choose fuse with and connect them.

To get your sim a refined crystal you can go to an archaeology table with a crystal in your inventory and refine it yourself!

Once you have the crystal and the other two pieces are fused together you can click on the incomplete relic and choose insert crystal and put it all together to finish this part.

Stage Four: Jungle Explorer

To open these rare treasure chests your sim needs to make it all the way through the temple. You’ll continue to do the same thing where you examine different traps until you figure out which one will open a gate.

At the bottom of the temple you’ll see a colourful, interesting looking treasure chest. You’ll click on that and choose to open it and your sim will find some great treasures inside!

Since you need to open 3 treasure chests you’ll need to come back to the temple multiple times. Each time you go into the temple you’ll need to unlock the gates again and the temple will be different so you’ll have a new experience when you travel back.

Once you have a relic assembled you can click on it and choose to either activate it on your own sim or another sim.

When I activated my relic on my sim she immediately got 125 simoleons. Then, for the next few days she got hundreds of dollars each morning as a Mystic Blessing royalty payment.

Another one that I activated had my sim be marked for death and she was set on fire, another one gave me a skeleton assistant to help my sim care for her life. There are tons of weird things that these relics can do!

These are the treasures that you’re going to find inside of the treasure chest you find at the bottom floor of the temple. The treasures are awesome items that are worth thousands of dollars.

You can also sometimes get these kinds of treasures from the action cards that you get when you’re travelling through the jungle and clearing paths.
