There are so many fun things to do in the game but with these sims 4 horse ranch cheats you can have even more fun.
All of these cheats are for The Sims 4: Horse Ranch and apply to both sims and horses!
Note: All of these cheats have been tested and are working as of December 17, 2025!
Trait Cheats
Traits are important for your sims because they impact their life and their personality. You can add extra traits to your sims with these easy-to-use trait cheats.

You can use these same cheat codes to remove the traits from your sim too. You just need to change the equip in the first part to the word remove instead.
Skill Cheats (Sims)
In this pack we got two skills that your sims can gain and four for horses. You’ll be able to have your sim learn the horse riding skill and the nectar making skill and both of them can be cheated.
Below you’ll see the cheat code to max out either of those skills. At the end you can change that number to a different level of the skill to get that for your sim instead (1-10 for horse riding and 1-5 for nectar making).

Skill Cheats (Horses)
To cheat skills for horses you first need to find the horse’s Sim ID. This is super easy and you need to use the following cheat code:
- sims.get_sim_id_by_name (horse’s name)
If your horse has one name you’d just use that, if they have a last name you’d use both. For example, my horse’s name is Babe and they have no last name so the cheat would be sims.get_sim_id_by_name Babe and when you hit enter it will give you a long number you’ll need to input into the actual cheat code.
Important Note: if your horse has more than 2 names you’ll need to change their name to use this! For example, I adopted a horse named Bullet Train and they took my sim’s last name, this sim couldn’t get a Sim ID.
Once you have the Sim ID for the horse you’ll input it into the cheat codes below. The cheats you see will max out the horse’s skill at level 10 but you can change the ten at the end to any level from 1-10 if you want something different.

Sim Personality Preference Cheats
You are able to choose how your sim feels about different skills and tasks, and in this you can do that for horse training, nectar making and ranch music.

Sim Fear of Horses Cheat
In this pack your sim is able to develop a fear of horses that can happen after being bucked off of one. This is a fun detail and you can cheat to add or remove this to your sim at any time with the cheats below!
