The Sims 4 Hope VS Order Aspiration
If you like Star Wars you’ll enjoy playing through the sims 4 hope vs order aspiration.
This aspiration came with The Sims 4: Journey to Batuu and lets you dip your toes into the lore.
Prepared Voyager Bonus Trait
When you start your sim off with this aspiration they’ll be given the prepared voyager bonus trait. This trait’s description reads “Sims who are Prepared Voyagers fill up their needs slightly when travelling.”
This is useful for this aspiration because your sim won’t be at home with easy access to beds and bathrooms.
Aspiration Tasks
This aspiration only has three tasks to complete which are all in the same stage. When you finish each task you’ll get satisfaction points to spend in the reward store on fun traits!
- Visit Every Neighbourhood on Batuu
The first thing you need to do is familiarize yourself with Batuu by visiting every neighbourhood. You’ll first need to get to Batuu by using your sim’s phone and under the travel menu using the take a vacation option to get there.
Once there you’ll choose a neighbourhood to start in and there are three to choose from:
- Resistance Encampment
- Black Spire Outpost
- First Order District
You’ll travel to one and then to finish this quickly you can click the m key on your keyboard to get to the travel menu and choose the next neighbourhood and do this until you complete this!
- Ask About Resistance or First Order Presence on Batuu
Your next task is to go up to random sims in the world and click on them and use either the Ask About Resistance or Ask About First Order interactions. You’ll just need to do this four times so you can ask different sims.
When you do this you’ll get information about the two groups so you can get more of the lore and understand more about the situation.
- Complete a Mission for the Resistance or First Order Faction
To finish this part I travelled to the neighbourhood for the First Order and looked around for Lt. Agnon who’s dressed in all black and sometimes holding a tablet. You’ll click on this sim and choose ask to see missions.
Note: When you spawn into Batuu for the first time you may have been given a “mission” get to acquainted with the world. You’ll need to finish that mission before you can ask anyone for another mission.
Clicking ask to see missions will open a menu where you’ll choose a mission, I was given one option and it was an easy one.
After choosing a mission you’ll see it appear in your sim’s career panel. It’ll have tasks to complete and you’ll also be able to see your rewards you’ll get when you finish it.
For this mission my sim had to click on various sims and click spread first order propaganda and each sim had a different notification reaction.
After completing the five interactions, you’ll need to go back to Lt Agnon to report back. When you do you’ll be given your reward and finish this aspiration.
If you’d rather to do a mission for the resistance, you’ll need to travel to their neighbourhood. Find a member of the resistance and use the ask about resistance interaction.
You’ll get a notification telling you to say ignite the spark with a resistance member and that’s how you get a mission.
The mission menu will open and you can choose the mission. The mission I got had 3 tasks:
- Talk to First Order Stormtroopers
- Analyze the TIE echelon
- Survey First Order Supply Crates
You’ll need to head to the first order neighbourhood and find sims that are dressed as stormtroopers and just chat with them.
Then you’ll need to analyze the TIE echelon which is a large ship in the corner of this neighbourhood. You’ll click it and choose analyze to do this.
Finally, you’ll need to survey first order supply crates which are black boxes that you’ll find on the ground around the neighbourhood. Click on one and choose the survey option.
Once done, you’ll report back to the resistance member and you’ll be able to finish this aspiration.
Choosing Your Next Aspiration
When you complete the Hope VS Order aspiration you’ll get a pop-up that says “The struggle between the First Order and Resistance has come to Batuu. The hope of freedom drives the Resistance, while the First Order seeks to extend their control. Which side will you support on Batuu?”
You’ll get to choose to either support the first order or the resistance and it will bring you into a new aspiration with different tasks to complete.
Completion Reward
When you finish the Sims 4 Hope Vs Order aspiration you won’t get a reward trait like you normally do when you finish other aspirations. You’ll actually be given a gift of credits from your chosen faction, either from the First Order or The Resistance.
