How to Get a Golden Llama in The Sims 4
Who wouldn’t want to get a special gold animal? You can have a sims 4 golden llama!
This ability comes from The Sims 4: Cottage Living and lets you feed a special treat to get your llama to change colour.
How to Get a Golden Llama in The Sims 4
To get a golden llama you’ll first need to get your hands on a Golden Treat. You get the initial treats through gameplay, so you’ll want to do some of the following things until you get a golden treat:
- Doing errands for sims in Henford
- Winning at the Finchwick Fair
- Purchasing them from the gardening stall shop
- Trading your animals for animal treats
After you’ve obtained your first golden treat you will get a notification saying your sim can now make them. This means you can click on the fridge and if you have these ingredients you can make it:
- Golden Egg
- Cowberry Jam or Honey
Now that you have a golden treat you’ll click on your llama and choose give treat and find golden treat.
This will turn your sim bright yellow and they will look adorable, don’t worry, it’s not permanent.
Once you click on the sim and choose to shear their wool they’ll go back to normal. Sheering a golden llama means that you’ll get both their regular wool type and 1 gold wool in your sim’s inventory.
Golden wool is useful for winning the wool competition at The Finchwick Fair!
