Understanding Frog Breeding Combinations in The Sims 4
If you want the completed frog collection you need to understand sims 4 frog breeding combinations.
This can be confusing if you don’t understand the basics, that there are five categories of frogs to work with!
How to Breed Frogs
Once you have two frogs in your sim’s inventory, you’ll be able to click on one and choose breed frog with. When you click this a menu will appear where you’ll choose which frog to breed it with.

When complete you’ll get a notification saying your sim has bred a new frog and the new frog will appear in your sim’s inventory.

Frog Breeding Combinations
When you breed two frogs together you can get an number of results. This includes:
- Breeding one of the two frogs used in breeding again
- Breeding one of the frogs used to make one of the two frogs used in breeding
- Breeding a new frog entirely
For example, breeding together an eggplant frog and a leopard frog should result in a spotted eggplant frog but my sim also got a sunflower frog, two leopard frogs, and one eggplant frog before getting the spotted eggplant.
Note: The Death Frog from The Sims 4: Life & Death is not able to be bred!
