How to Use Friendship Cheats in The Sims 4
Getting new friends is hard, even for sims, and with these sims 4 friendship cheats you can do it with ease.
You can use these simple friendship cheats to make your sim a positive or negative relationship with a sim depending on what you’re looking for!
How to Use Friendship Cheats
The first thing you need to do to use these cheats is make sure cheats are enabled. You’ll need to open the cheats bar:
- PC: Ctrl + Shift + C
- Mac: Command + Shift + C
- Console: All Four Triggers
Then you’ll type in testingcheats true and hit enter and the game will let you know that cheats are enabled and you’re free to use the friendship cheats!
Friendship cheats are easy to use but hard to remember, so you can bookmark this page for the future! The cheat code you need to know is ModifyRelationship {Sim A} {Sim B} Amount LTR_Friendship_Main which looks complicated but truly isn’t.
This cheat code has a number that you need to add in the amount part and that will be a number between -100 and 100. Any number in the negative will give you a red bar negative relationship and any positive will give you a green bar positive relationship, and 0 will bring you to neutral.
Let’s say you are trying to make Travis Scott and Summer Holiday best friends at 100% friendship. You’ll use that cheat code and input everything right into it. So it turns into ModifyRelationship Travis Scott Summer Holiday 100 LTR_Friendship_Main and then you’d hit enter and the cheat code will give you perfect friendship between those two sims.
You can also use this to give negative relationships between two sims if you want them to dislike each other instead. You would just add a minus sign in front of the number so if you want to be complete enemies you can do -100 LTR_Friendship_Main at the end of the cheat code.
Note: A sim who has three names (i.e., J Huntington III) can’t use these cheat codes because it only works for sims with two names!
How to Easily Cheat Friendship With Mods
The absolute best cheat mod for the game is UI Cheats for simple things like friendship because it’s so easy to use. For this you’ll go to your sim’s relationship panel and right click on the sim who you want to change relationship with.
A menu will open where you can input numbers for both the relationship as well as the romance cheat number! You can put any number from -100 to 100 for both and get a relationship so easy without needing to remember all those long cheat codes.
