The Sims 4 Follow in Their Footsteps (Music) Formative Moment
After finding a scrapbook your sim will get the Sims 4 Follow in Their Footsteps (Music) Formative Moment to play through.
Formative moments are a fun addition with The Sims 4: Adventure Awaits and they impact your sim’s adult lives based on things they did as kids.
The Sims 4 Follow in Their Footsteps (Music) Formative Moment

- “I’m going to get really good at playing music so I can be like the Sims from that scrapbook!”
The first part of this requires that your sim plays instruments for four total hours. This can be cumulative, so you don’t need to have them play for four hours back to back. You can get them to play the piano or the violin as a child.

- “I’m going to plan a cool stage outfit!”
To plan an outfit you’ll click on a mirror or dresser and choose plan outfit. This will bring you into create-a-sim where you can design a cute new outfit for this sim.

Honorary Childhood Touring Musician
When your sim finishes off this formative moment they’ll become a honorary childhood touring musician.
This trait’s description reads “As a child, this Sim found an On Tour Scrapbook and wanted to follow in those Sim’s footsteps and make their own music! As an adult, they’ll advance more quickly in Guitar, Piano, Singing and Violin Skills. They’ll also receive more tips!”

Sims with this trait get a lot of benefits! They’ll gain all musicial skills more quickly and even get more tips when they play in public.
