Fairy Influence Bonus Trait
When you choose to play through the sims 4 fairy stories aspiration your sim is going to be given the fairy influence bonus trait. This trait’s description says “These sims seem to leave a big impact! Relationship fluctuations are bigger when socializing with Fairy Sims and gnomes – for better or worse.”
This trait can be really helpful in befriending other fairies for this aspiration!
Best Traits for the Sims 4 Fairy Stories Aspiration
Adding smart traits to your sim can help you finish aspirations faster like this one. Here’s some traits that are helpful:
- Outgoing: In this aspiration your sim will need to befriend two other fairies so being outgoing is a great option.
- Loves the Outdoors: As a fairy you’ll spend a decent amount of time outside, so loving being outside will help keep your sim happier more often.
You can also add lot traits to your sim’s home to make it easier, there’s only one good lot trait for this aspiration:
- Fairy Passage: This lot trait turns your sim’s home into a passage, meaning fairies will visit here more often. This is helpful when you need to befriend fairies or need to ask them for fairy dust.
Stages of the Aspiration
There are only two stages of this aspiration to play through because it’s a beginning aspiration. When you finish it you’ll unlock more fairy aspirations to play through!
Stage One: A Fairy’s Journey
The first thing you need to do to play through the sims 4 fairy stories aspiration is, of course, become a fairy. To do this you first need to get your hands on a fairy seedling.
There are a bunch of ways you can get one of these seedlings but the easiest way is to befriend a fairy and ask them for it. You can find fairies walking around in the Everdew neighbourhood. Get your sim to around 40% friendship with a fairy and you should find the option to ask for fairy seeding appear.
When they give you the seedling it’ll appear in your sim’s inventory and you can click on a planter or the ground and choose plant fairy seedling.
When you do this an action card will appear letting you know that you are about to summon Mother Nature. You’ll be given the option to proceed or cancel your attempt.
When mother nature appears you can chat with them and click ask for mother nature’s charm. This is a short lived spell that will allow you to become a fairy but entering the proper body of water.
Once you have mother nature’s charm you’ll need to head over to the Everdew neighbourhood and find the gorgeous sparkling body of water called Moondrop Springs located in the top left corner.
When you arrive Moondrop Springs you can click on it and choose become a fairy and when your sim enters the water they will immediately become a fairy and earn their wings!
Your sim will get a +3 energized moodlet saying Enchanted Beginnings that will last 6 hours. Plus, you’ll get a Metamorphosis notification where you can click to modify your sim in CAS so you can edit their fairy form.
Throwing dance parties in a fairy home is so silly but absolutely adorable. To do this your sim will need to purchase one of the two fairy houses from build mode or find the one located in Everdew to use the public fairy house.
Once you have access to a fairy house you’ll click on it and choose throw dance party. Your sim will shrink down and go inside and you’ll see lights and music coming off the fairy house. It’s honestly so silly and adorable!
- Befriend 2 Fairy Sims
This is a really easy part of this aspiration, the easiest way to find fairies to become friends with is to travel to the Everdew neighbourhood and there will be fairies around to befriend. You’ll know they are fairies because they have wings, duh!
Get your relationship with these fairies to around 40% by doing some friendly interactions and you’ll be able to finish this easily.
If you have the fairy passage lot trait on your sim’s lot you’ll see lots of fairies come to visit, so it’s helpful to find fairies to be friends with.
Stage Two: Embracing a Fairy Life
- Reach the Glimmering Fairy Rank
Glimmering is the third rank for your fairy and it’s super easy to improve you ranking. You just need to do any interactions that appear under the fairy menus. This applies when you click on your sim or on other sims.
As you increase your rank you’ll get points you can spend to unlock other fairy interactions too, like being able to absorb and bottle emotions or giving other sims ailments!
- Use Fairy Dust to Enchant 3 Times
There are a few things you can enchant with fairy dust and all of them are so much fun. The first thing is gnomes. Bringing these to life is super fun and when you enchant them they can clean up your home, protect your sims or repair objects.
Another thing you can enchant for this part of the aspiration is plants, either outdoor gardening plants or indoor plants. To enchant plants you’ll need to first purchase the perk. You’ll first need to purchase the tier one nurture nature perk and then purchase enchant plant.
When you enchant a plant it’ll cost you five piles of fairy dust and it’ll make it so you won’t need to water or weed the plant while the enchantment is active.
This pack came with indoor plants that have interactions and behave like true indoor plants. You can enchant these too so you can ignore their needs for a few days if your sim is too busy.
When you enchant plants you’ll get a notification telling you everything you need to know. Some benefits include not needing to care for them as well as them being ready to evolve quicker!
The only downside is that when you enchant plants you can sometimes attract pixies that can be annoying, just shoo them away before doing your plant interactions.
- Visit the Mossveil Fairy Hub and Use it 3 Times
In the middle of the Everdew neighbourhood is this adorable mushroom shaped building that you can interact with. For this part of the aspiration your sim needs to interact with it three times.
You can do any of the interactions on the Mossveil Fairy Hub but you should make sure that you use the collect fairy dust ration option so you can get fairy dust every day! You can use the bathroom and bathe in this too, which is a great way to stay clean and happy!
Into the Everdew Reward Trait
When your sim finishes the sims 4 fairy stories aspiration they are going to be given the into the everdew reward trait. This trait’s description says “These sims dive headlong into the fairy journey and have a headstart on climbing through the fairy ranks, while having a bit of extra fun while doing it.”
This is a great trait for trying to max your sim’s fairy ranking because they’ll earn more fairy XP when doing fairy interactions.
Choosing Your Fairy Path
When you finish this aspiration you’ll get an action card asking which fairy path calls to your sim. You’ll be able to choose between the harmonious fairy path and the discordant fairy path.
Think of these as good and evil, being a harmonious fairy is about being one with nature and curing ailments. Being a discordant fairy is about manipulating objects, giving sims ailments and shifting other sims luck.
