Everything You Must Know About Fairy Babies And Children in The Sims 4
Fairies are a very fun occult to play around with but the best stuff comes with sims 4 fairy babies and children!
This occult comes to your game with The Sims 4: Enchanted by Nature and have some special abilities for younger fairies.
How to Have a Fairy Baby
Having a fairy baby is easy, you just need a fairy to be one of the two parents who tries for baby. However, if one parent is just a regular sim or a different occult you only have a 50% chance of having a fairy baby. If you have both parents involved as fairies, there is a 100% chance of having a fairy baby.
To have babies you need to have the two sims try for baby on a bed or any of the other woohoo locations. You can then click on a toilet to take a pregnancy test to see if your sim is pregnant, or just wait until the game lets you know that they are pregnant.

When the baby is born you’ll see it appear in a bassinet which is your first sign if the baby is a fairy or not. If the baby appears in a plain bassinet that means they are a sim, if it’s a fun fairy bassinet it means they’re a fairy!
Special Fairy Baby Trait
If your fairy is born to two parents who are both fairies they are going to get a special trait. This trait is called high fae lineage and the description on this reads “Having fairy parents has brought a magical lineage that gives a sim additional fairy experience gain from all sources.”

This means that once this child ages up to a teenager and older they will gain fairy XP faster so they rank up quicker as well as gain more perk points so they can be stronger fairy faster.
How to Care for Fairy Babies and Infants
Both fairies and infants are great because you’ll see their hunger and bladder needs go down slower than regular sims. This is because as a teen those two needs will change to their emotional force so they don’t need it as much as regular kids.

Infants are able to be fed an emotion potion that a fairy has in their inventory. Fairies can get these through their bottle emotion perks, from moody shrubs or by bottling the pond emotions in Everdew.

Fairy Toddlers and Children
You get some truly fun stuff happening when your kid ages up to a toddler or child. You’ll see toddlers have a gain to their skills with both thinking and the imagination skill. This is awesome because having them gain them faster makes them easier to care for!
Both children and toddlers will see their hunger and bladder needs go down slower still, when they age up to a teen they’ll no longer have these needs!
Toddlers and children may wake up from time to time with a +2 Angry moodlet called Emotional Struggles that says “Emotions are hard! Especially for a young fairy!”

When they wake up like this they are going to have a lot of anger where they may walk out and start breaking things. My toddler walked into the kitchen and the fridge, sink and stove were all broken. Fairies are fun!

You can have older sims click on them and under the fairy menu you can find help manage emotions. Doing this will make it so your child won’t break anything for the rest of the duration of the moodlet, but they can still wake up with more anger and emotional struggles.

If you help them manage their emotions often enough, you’ll be able to help them and they won’t break anything or have these outbursts anymore.

When a child or toddler has the emotional stability moodlet and they are around other sims they can give the other sim the emotional boost moodlet which says “Being around such stable emotions is bound to make someone feel good!”

Aging up to Teen as a Fairy
When your child ages up to a teen you’ll start seeing regular fairy stuff happen to your sim. Their hunger and bladder will change to emotional force, they’ll have a fairy form you can change in create-a-sim, and you’ll start gaining fairy experience.
