These formative moments came with The Sims 4: Adventure Awaits and make your sim’s childhood feel so much more important than ever before.
The Sims 4 Explore Nature Formative Moment
- “Nature is all around. I’m going to discover as much as I can and start a collection!”
For this formative moment your sim will need to catch or find six items related to nature. This includes frogs, fish and butterflies. For fish you can have your sim go fishing at any fishing spot, in any world.
For frogs, you can find frogs in stumps and ponds and click on them and choose look for frogs. To find butterflies you can search around Gibbi Point for them or I’ve found them all and you can see their locations here!
You just need to catch six individual items, it can be a few of each or all the same type of item.
Child Naturalist Reward Trait
When your sim finishes this formative moment they’ll get the childhood naturalist trait. This trait’s description says “As a child, this sim really wanted to go on adventures and explore nature! As an adult, they will enjoy time by themselves, and, as a result, their social need will decay slower.”
