How to Get Death by Urban Myth in The Sims 4
Urban myths can be fun to tell, but doing it three times in a row can cause your sims to have the sims 4 death by urban myth!
This death type comes with The Sims 4: High School Years and is only available for teenagers.
How to Get Death by Urban Myth in The Sims 4
When your teenage sims reach level 8 of the mischief skill you’ll unlock the ability to summon an urban myth. To do this you’ll click on another teenager and go to the mischief menu and choose summon urban myth.
When you do this one time, you’ll have the target teen get scared and nothing bad happen to your sim.
The sims team loves to do things three times, just like with the death by beetle juice, you’ll need to have your sim do the summon urban myth interaction three times. The first time will scare the target sim, the second time will scare your sim.
When your sim gets scared they’ll get a +1 Scared Moodlet called Is The Myth Real that lasts 6 hours. If your sim uses the summon urban myth interaction one more time while that moodlet is active, they will experience this death type!
You’ll know the death type is happening when there is a black smoke around the sim’s arm and you get the purple notification saying “Your sim is dying or Urban Myth! What kind of horrors did they witness before it consumed them?”
The sim will remove the mirror, look terrified, grab onto their chest with an awful look on their face and then fall to the ground and wait for The Grim Reaper.
Urban Myth Ghost
When your sim dies from the urban myth there’s a black smoke that comes from the mirror and when they are a ghost you’ll see this same thing happening around their body.
These ghosts will have the death by urban myth trait that says “This Sim fell victim to an urban myth, dismissing the rumors until it was too late. While others might attribute the death to fear, only few know the real cause.”
