How to Get Death by The Mother in The Sims 4
If you try and defeat The Mother but aren’t prepared for it, your sim can experience the sims 4 death by the mother.
This comes with The Sims 4: Strangerville and requires your sim to get to the bottom of The Secret Lab!
How to Get Death by The Mother in The Sims 4
If you’ve played through the Strangerville mystery you know that the mother is the weird plant that is tormenting and infecting all the sims in town. If a sim tries to defeat The Mother but they aren’t prepared, they are going to struggle and you’ll get to see the sim pass away.
You’ll need to do everything in the mystery to be able to get your sim to The Mother in the secret lab including creating a secret dossier to get a keycard and more.
Once your sim has a keycard and a hazmat suit they’ll be able to get to the mother on their own. When you do you can click on them and choose attempt to fight.
Your sim will try their best to fight The Mother but will not be successful. You’ll get a notification saying “The Mother Plant is extremely powerful. Best not fight her alone.”
If you click on the mother plant again it will say attempt to fight again. If you have your sim attempt to fight again without backup, your sim will be swallowed by the mother plant!
You’ll see The Mother swallow the sim and you’ll get a notification saying “Your sim is being devoured by The Mother Plant. This will be the end of Your Sim.”
The Mother Ghost
Ghosts that are consumed by The Mother have a fun visual effect where you can see little spore clusters floating around them all the time. It’s gross. At first I thought it was only happening in Strangerville, but it happens everywhere!
The best part about being swallowed by the mother is the trait, because it gives your sim a special ability. The trait they get as a ghost is consumed by the Mother and it says “This Sim has been consumed by the Mother Plant and will forever reap her benefits of ZERO NEED DECAY!”
This means as a ghost you’ll never need to worry about your ghost’s needs! When my sim’s soul was reaped and they turned into a ghost all of their needs were filled and they stopped needing them cared for at all.
