How to Get Death by Poison in The Sims 4
When you’re exploring the jungle and the temple in Selvadorada your sim can sometimes have a bad time. You may get a notification letting you know that your sim has been poisoned!

The easiest way to do this is to use the try to pass option on a gate in the temple that has green gas coming off of it. When you do this your sim will get green dots on their face and you’ll get a +1 Dazed moodlet called Feeling Icky which lasts 12 hours.

When the feeling icky moodlet expires you’ll see one of two results. You’ll either get a notification saying your sim was able to fight off the poison on their own, or one that says they couldn’t and it’s gotten worse.

If your sim can’t fight it off on their own you’ll get a +6 dazed moodlet called Poisoned! that will last 3 days. If you do nothing, your sim will die after the three day moodlet is up.

The death for this one is fun to watch, the sim is covered in green circles and they do a bunch of weird body movements until they fall to the floor.

How to Avoid Your Sim Dying From The Poison
If you want to save your sim, you can! You’ll need to click on a computer and find purchase antidote. This will cost your sim 1,000 simoleons but it’s worth it.

When you purchase it the drink will appear in your sim’s inventory and you’ll want to click on it and choose to drink it and your sim will be saved.

Death by Poison Ghost
When your sim becomes a ghost you’ll see some fun visual effects for this. A poison ghost will have a green smoke following them everywhere they go, gross, but awesome.

These ghosts will have the death by poison trait that says “This Sim died as a result of being poisoned.”
