How to Get Death by Meteorite in The Sims 4
With just the base game, a telescope and a dream you can experience the death by meteorite in The Sims 4.
This classic death is hilarious and was available in The Sims 3 too!
How to Get Death by Meteorite in The Sims 4
To have this death happen for your sim you’ll need to purchase a telescope and have your sim look at the sky using any of the interactions on the telescope. It doesn’t matter what time of day it is!
You’ll want to have your sim do this until you get an orange notification that says “Uh oh… Your Sim noticed a meteor is hearing right for them! They should seek shelter, and quickly!”
When you get this notification your sim will also get a +4 Scared Moodlet called IT’S COMING RIGHT FOR ME! At this point you can choose to have your sim run inside and avoid the meteor, or keep them outside and let them die!
The meteor will crash down on your sim with a huge explosion and tons of dust. You’ll get that purple death notification and the sim will be laying on the ground with a meteor laying next to them.
The Grim Reaper will come see your and reap your sim’s soul, and now you can play as them as a ghost or let them go forever.
Death by Meteorite Ghost
If you have them as a ghost you’ll have a few funny things happen to the sim. For one, the sim will have a burning meteor in their chest which is such a funny detail.
The sim will have the death by meteorite trait where the description reads “This Sim was struck by a newly discovered rogue meteorite, which resulted in much scientific excitement and a small case of death.”
The best part about a meteorite ghost in the game is that they will randomly get hit by a meteor out of no where. This won’t harm them since they’re already dead and it will only effect the ghost, no other sims around them!
