How to Get Death by Lightning in The Sims 4

Your sims should not spend too much time outside during thunderstorms or they may experience the sims 4 death by lightning.

This requires The Sims 4: Seasons and has your sims having a one in a million experience, maybe even easier than winning the lottery.

How to Get Death by Lightning in The Sims 4

The key to making your sim have a death by lightning is to have them spend time outside during a thunderstorm.

When a thunderstorm is happening your sim will get a bunch of scared moodlets and will try to run inside, but you’ll want to cancel that or lock them in a fence if you’re feeling evil.

When the sim gets struck the first time they won’t die but they will get singed and will get a +40 Dazed moodlet called Struck by Lightning.

If they keep spending time outside during thunderstorms and get hit again, they have a much higher chance of death. When it happens they’ll get pulled up into the air and electrocuted and then will fall down on the ground and you’ll get that purple death notification.

Death by Lightning Ghost

The lightning ghost looks just like the electrocution ghost, which makes sense since they were both electrocuted technically. These ghosts have a bolt of electricity that goes through their body as a cool visual effect.

These ghosts will have the death by lightning trait that says “This sim was struck by lightning one time too many.”
