How to Get Death by Hysteria in The Sims 4
Have you ever laughed so hard it hurt? Well at least in real life you can’t experience a sims 4 death by hysteria!
This death type from the base game requires you to get your sim as many playful moodlets as you can until they stack to become hysterical.
Note: All of the emotional deaths get more difficult to obtain the more DLC you own because there are so many moodlets that your sim can experience at once!
How to Get Death by Hysteria in The Sims 4
To get this death type to happen you’ll need to have your sim stack a whole bunch of playful moodlets. Some ways you can get playful moodlets include:
- Take a bubble bath
- Eating silly gummy bear pancakes
- Watch comedy channel on TV
- Have a sim have the goofball trait
- Use the Child’s Play lot trait
- Decorate with MySim Trophies and turn on their emotional aura
- Make a silly face in a mirror
- Have a sim use a voodoo doll on the sim with the frolic interaction
- Have the sim tell successful jokes back to back to back
There are a whole bunch of others ways to get your sim to feel playful, but that is a few options you have. You’ll need to stack as many of these as you can until they get playful, then very playful and then hysterical. Once you hit hysterical you’ll be close to the death.
Once you hit hysterical you’ll want to do more things to get your sim to feel playful until you get the purple notification saying your sim has died from laughter.
During the death the sim will bend over and start laughing so hard until they eventually fall down and wait for The Grim Reaper.
Death by Hysteria Ghost
This ghost doesn’t have any fun visual effects like you get with more modern death types, just a boring plain ghost. They will, however, laugh at random times that make no sense!
These ghosts will get the death by laughter trait that says “This Sim died from a fit of the giggles that continues to pop now and then.”
