This may quite possibly be the hardest death to get to happen in the game! The first thing you need to do is have the reduce and recycle lot challenge active on your sim’s household.

This lot challenge makes it so your outdoor garbage cans are no longer bottomless and you need to be aware of your sim’s garbage and actually put in effort for it.

You’ll want to purchase an outdoor garbage can (or multiple) and let the garbage overflow to the point where you get roaches and the garbage is overflowing. After a few hours you’ll attract flies and you’ll want to click on them and choose bond with flies.

You want this action to fail to experience this death! You’ll get the swatted +2 angry moodlet and that’s a good sign. This says “After being painfully rejected in the quest for kinship with the buzzing swarm, maybe Your Sim should be careful interacting with flies in the future.”

If your sim tries to bond with flies again while this moodlet is active they have a chance of dying from death by flies!
