How to Get Death by Contributing Knowledge in The Sims 4
Sharing knowledge is a good thing, but too much can lead to a sims 4 death by contributing knowledge!
This is an option in The Sims 4: Discover University and works with the research and debate skill.
How to Get Death by Contributing Knowledge in The Sims 4
When your sim has high levels in a certain skill (and level six of the research and debate skill) they are able to start contributing knowledge on a research machine. You can find these machines in build mode by searching for “research archive machine”.
You’ll click on this machine and choose contribute knowledge and pick whatever skill you want. Sims that do this will actually get paid and the higher your skills, the more you’ll make.
However, when your sim is done they’ll get a dazed +40 moodlet called mentally drained. It says “Contributing mental energy is draining. Continuing to do so could have severe repercussions.”
If you have your sim contribute more knowledge in the four hours that the moodlet is active your sim will experience the sims 4 contributing knowledge death!
The stages of this death type are very funny, your sim will have the colours of their knowledge change from green and blue to a scarier red and yellow and the sim will start to grab their head. Eventually, it looks like their head kind of explodes until it falls over to the side.
Contributing Knowledge Ghost
There are no cool visual effects with this ghost, probably because it’s considered the death by overexertion which is from the base game from many years ago.
Annoyingly the trait you get with this death is the death by overexertion trait, so it’s not a unique one. It says “Apparently it is possible to overdo it. This Sim did it to death.”
