The sims 4 dancing skill is one of two skills that come to the game with The Sims 4: Get Together.
This is a fun skill if your sims just want to vibe and have a good time!
What is Dancing Good for?
Dancing doesn’t have any real impact on me personally, there is no career tied to it or way to make good money.
However, you can create groups with Get Together and have your sim makes lots of friends through nights out dancing which can be fun.
How to Gain The Sims 4 Dancing Skill
There are a few ways you can learn this skill in The Sims 4 and all of them involve getting out there and moving your body. The first way is to practice your dancing in front of a mirror.
This is funny to me because you can have it where a more shy sim is doing this before going out with friends because they’re scared of how they may look, adorable.
The next way to gain this skill is to turn on some music on a stereo and choose to dance to it. You can also do this with any speaker or, of course, with the DJ Booth as long as there is someone out there practicing their DJ Mixing and playing some fun jams.
Ideal Mood for Dancing
Every skill in The Sims 4 has an ideal emotion tied to it that your sim should be experiencing to gain the skill more quickly. The ideal mood for dancing is confident!
The easiest way to confident is to head to your bathroom, brush your teeth and psych yourself up in a mirror.
Best Traits for Gaining The Sims 4 Dancing Skill
The traits that your sims have can have a big impact on their mood and skill gains, so here are some great ones for gaining the dancing skill:
- Dance Machine: Sims can get a burst of energy when at bars, nightclubs and lounges and get a happy moodlet when arriving at social venues.
- Self-Assured: Sims with the self-assured trait can get random confident moodlets.
- Cheerful: Cheerful is always a good choice, it can make your sims happy which can boost confident.
How to Cheat The Dancing Skill
I’m obsessed with remembering every cheat code in The Sims 4 because sometimes I just don’t want to grind through skills with my sims. The dancing skill is slightly different than most skills because there are only five levels to gain.
The cheat you need to know for dancing is stats.set_skill_level Minor_Dancing 5 to max the skill. If you want a different level of the skill you’ll just change the five at the end to a number from 1-4.
Levels of the Sims 4 Dancing Skill
Dancing is considered a minor skill in the game, meaning that there are only five levels of the skill to gain in total. Every time you get another level of the skill you’ll get some new abilities unlocked.
