The Sims 4 Creative Genius Aspiration
We all want to be smart and creative and with the sims 4 creative genius aspiration your sim can do it!
This aspiration is amazing and has one of the best kid’s reward traits, idea person.
Creative Genius comes to your game with The Sims 4: Growing Together and is one of four aspirations from that pack.
Best Traits for This Aspiration
Children get one trait slot to use, so you don’t have a lot of wiggle room with adding traits to help with aspirations. However, there are two that can be helpful:
- Creative: In this aspiration your sim needs to gain the creativity skill, and the creative skill is super helpful for that.
- Genius: Your sim also needs to gain the mental skill, and genius sims will have an easier time.
You may also want to add the Child’s Play lot trait to your game from The Sims 4: City Living. This lot trait is great because it makes your sim gain all the children’s skills faster.
Stages of The Sims 4 Creative Genius Aspiration
There are three stages of this aspiration to play through with your sim and each has different tasks to complete. Your sim will need to play outside and gain the creativity and mental skills.
Stage One: Gifted Fledgling

- Play Pretend in the Treehouse
The first thing you need to do to play pretend in a treehouse is to build one! You’ll need to purchase the Timber! Treehouse base for 1,200 simoleons from the build catalog.

Then, you’ll need to get an older sim like a parent to build the treehouse but a child can actually help them to it to make it happen faster which is adorable.

Once the treehouse is built you can click on it and choose play pretend and then choose which type from playing house to playing space explorer.

Your sim will do some adorable interactions with fun imaginative animations flowing and you’ll satisfy this requirement.
Since this aspiration is about being a creative genius, your sim needs the creativity skill. This skill can be gained in a whole bunch of ways including playing instruments like the violin or piano, drawing pictures on an activity table and playing on a dollhouse.
Stage Two: Inspired Visionary

This aspiration also has your sim needing to gain the mental skill which is all about your brain. You can gain this one by doing things like playing chess, using a telescope and playing arithmetic attack on the computer.
- Stargaze
To get your child to stargaze you’re going to need to first have the right equipment. You’ll either need the Backyard Observatory or the Back Pocket Observatory, either will work.

Once you have the proper observatory you’ll wait until night strikes and you’ll click on the observatory and choose stargaze. The sim will look through the lens and explore the stars in a super cute way.

Stage Three: Best-In-Class

- Sleep in a Treehouse for 6 Hours
The cutest part of the aspiration is getting your sims to sleep in their treehouse. To do this you’ll click on the treehouse and go to enclosure and then choose sleep in enclosure.

You need to do this for a total of 6 hours, but it doesn’t need to be all at once. So, just get the sim to sleep in there a few times and you’ll satisfy this requirement.
In a previous section you had to get your sim to level 3 of the creativity skill, so you’ve made it half way already. You’ll just need to continue playing instruments and drawing on the activity table to get to level 6.
To finish off this aspiration your sim needs to get to level 5 of the mental skill, and you already reached level 3 previously. You’ll need to continue doing things like practicing chess, playing the arithmetic attack video game and using a telescope.
Idea Person Reward Trait
When you manage to complete this aspiration with your sim you’ll get the idea person reward trait. This trait’s description reads “These sims focused on a combination of mental and creativity skills during their childhood. Due to their efforts they can now paint, write, program, and write songs faster. Any writer’s block will also vanish much more quickly!”

This is such a great trait to get as a kid because you can earn so much money from painting, programming and writing and if your sim can do it faster by default you’ll be good to go!
