The Sims 4 Character Values Cheats
Children learn by doing and this can impact them forever, with these sims 4 character values cheats you can ensure your kids grow up well.
The character values system comes with The Sims 4: Parenthood and if your sim gets in the range they can get either a positive or negative trait.
How to Use Character Values Cheats
Before you can use any of these cheats you’ll need to enable cheat codes. You can do this in the cheat box which you can open with these buttons:
- PC: Ctrl + Shift + C
- Mac: Command + Shift + C
- Console: All Four Triggers
You’ll type in testingcheats true and hit enter to enable these cheats codes. You can then place the character value cheats below in this same cheat box and hit enter to use them.
Cheats for Character Value Amounts
When your sim is a child or teen they’ll have a character values section in their simology. You’ll be able to cheat the values of your sim’s character values in any way you want with the cheat codes below.

These cheats all have an X at the end which is where you’ll place a number between -100 and 100. The spectrum of character values has -100 being entirely red and 100 being entirely green. You can use a 0 at the end to get them to neutral.
Cheats for Character Value Traits
Once your teen ages up to an adult, you may want to give them the reward traits from character values (or remove bad ones) and you can do that too. Below you’ll see lists of both the positive and negative traits and the cheats you see will give those traits to your sim.

If you’d rather remove one from your sim you can change the code by switching out the word equip to remove so it would start with traits.remove_trait instead or traits.equip_trait.

Note: You cannot cheat both the negative and positive traits onto the same sim. They are conflicting traits, you obviously can’t have both good manners and bad manners for example.
