The Sims 4 Career Cheats (Up To Adventure Awaits)
Starting a career at the bottom is the worst, so with these sims 4 career cheats you can promote your sim and start earning the money they deserve!
These cheats let you add sims to careers, promote them, demote them or have them retire entirely.
How to Use Career Cheats
The first thing you need to do before you can use these cheat codes is make sure that your cheats are enabled. To do this you’ll open the cheat box:
- PC: Ctrl + Shift + C
- Mac: Command + Shift + C
- Console: All Four Triggers
Then you’ll type in testingcheats true and hit enter and the game will let you know that cheats are enabled and at that time you are free to use any of these sims 4 career cheats.
There are a few types of career cheats you can have and you just change the career signifier at the end (instead of the X) to pick a specific career.

How to Cheat Careers With Mods
The easiest way to cheat careers (and pretty much everything else) is to use the UI Cheats Extension mod which is always in my game. This mod lets you click on the UI in the game and menus open where you can click to cheat instead of needing to remember cheat codes!
When you have this mod installed and your sim has a career you can right click on the job icon in the career panel and a menu will open that gives you option. On this menu you’ll see options to:
- Promote
- Demote
- Promote to Branch Selection
- Promote to Specific Levels
All you need to do with this mod is click on whatever cheat you want to use and it will work instantly.
