How to Get Buried Treasure in The Sims 4

Who wouldn’t want to find treasure? In Sulani you can find a fun collection of sims 4 buried treasure!

This collection comes from The Sims 4: Island Living and can be found by searching caves, diving and even hanging with a dolphin.

How to Get Buried Treasure in The Sims 4

There are a number of ways to find these fun collectibles from Island Living. You can have your sim go diving, spend some time fishing or have them be friends with a dolphin!

Diving in Deep Water

When you’re in Sulani you can sometimes see buoys in the deeper areas of the water and these have tons of functions. When you click on some of these buoys you’ll see the option to purchase dive gear and you’ll need to purchase the treasure tool for 1,200 simoleons.

Then, you can have your sim click on this buoy again and you can free dive for treasure. However, your sim will need to have at least level three of the fitness skill to be able to do this.

Your sim will dive under the water and if they find something you’ll get a notification telling you so.

If you also purchase the rebreather for 750 simoleons it will enable your sim to go scuba diving for treasure too. The regular free diving will get you one item at most per dive, but with scuba diving you can get more than one at a time!

Fishing in Sulani

There are a number of fishing spots in Sulani where your sims can catch a bunch of fish that came with Island Living. At these spots in Sulani you can sometimes have your sim catching any of these pieces of sims 4 buried treasure while you’re fishing!

Beachcombing

If you click on the sand in Sulani you can choose to beachcomb and if you choose comb beach for trash you can get a lot of random items and from time to time you may get one of the sims 4 buried treasure items!

Befriending a Dolphin

From time to time in the waters of Sulani you can see dolphins swimming around. You can actually interact with these animals and befriend them. As you grow your relationship with them through doing things like feeding them and talking to them you can ask them to do tricks.

If you do the fetch trick you can have the dolphin bring you back items like the buried treasure!

Exploring the Cave of Sulani

There are so many secrets to discover in Sulani including the cave of Sulani! This is located behind the Admiral’s Wreckage lot.

You’ll click on this cave and you’ll initially only see the option to explore. Click that and have your sim head inside.

Every time they finish exploring you’ll get a notification telling you about what experience your sim had. If you have certain ones like the Glint Out of Reach notification you can get a piece of buried treasure!

Types of Buried Treasure

There are three types of buried treasure you can get, either the eyes, heart or fingers of Sulani. There are multiple versions of each type that increase in rarity between common, uncommon and rare.

Reward for Completing the Collection

When you finish off the sims 4 buried treasure collection you’ll get a notification that says “Congratulations, this household has completed the Buried Treasure collection!”

In the following days your sim will get a reward in the mail. The Sulani Island Curator plaque that you can use as adorable decor! The description starts with “The Sulani Preservation Society officially recognizing you as a collector, archiver, and protector par excellence of Sulani Island historical artifacts.”
